How? we are barely playing any cricket this year as it is. And plus we need every chance we can get at playing in difficult conditions. Are we really scared of losing to ireland in their home? no wonder we are making such slow progress

Unfortunately its true. Our progress outside Bangladesh is poor. The last time we visited Ireland the series was 1-1.

and that's exactly why we need to play more games there, not chicken out. How else can we improve our record away from home if we don't take the chances that come across our way.
I think at the very least BCB can make this an A team tour. WC 2015 will be in Australia, very much different from the condition at our home, it doesn't hurt to look ahead.

I don't want us to give a hand to IR for their improve. I know we can beat them, no q about that. no one helped us, they get enough help from england. and we got cricket this year and playing them will not improve our game.

to play ireland in their home is tough, not becuase they are a great team! becuase the Pitches are very bounchy and testing! all the players will struggle as they have not tourned outside bangladesh for a long time. I would be happy if players like Anamul and Nasir learn something from the tour.

I wonder if BCB has any plans to utilize the long gap between April and October 2013 as there's no international cricket for Tigers (except playing against Zimbabwe)?
As per FTP http://static.espncricinfo.com/db/DO..._2011_2020.pdf
Australia, India and South Africa has no scheduled international cricket to play in April and May 2013 at all!
BCB can invite the above teams or play away series? Do something BCB.

This is a commanding move by AIUB. I always felt that winning mentality not only comes from having the right skillset of a particular sport but combining with education that teaches work ethic, grows confidence and temperament.

Holy crap! I know that guy! He came to study at Syracuse University for a year. He's a really great and knowledgeable person who speaks great English. I'm sure he'll teach these boys well.
