Great team effort by the team. It makes my job so much easier having such talented players in the team (I bet Whatmore wishes he had my job).
Piranha showed his mettle against the Lankans with both bat and ball while Ehsan, Mueid and Pundit carried the batting. Bourny and Chinaman bowled superbly and we found out that Naverene can bowl as well.
One thing the players need to do (and I don't hold this against them, they deserved to relax after virtually deciding the match on the second day) is to take every team seriously. We were a little complacent on the third day and allowed the Lankans to get a decent total. In the end, we got our act together in style.
Overall, I am very happy with our performance and would like the players to carry on their good form into the future tours. Good luck to SriLanka and our many thanks to the good people of SriLanka for having us and our heartfelt condolences to those who have lost family and friends in the recent disaster.
Good Game !
