Thanks, guys. The whole city has gone completely bonkers. Been quite a while since Toronto's won anything major (Toronto FC don't count).
Agree that the Raps probably would not have stood a chance against a fully healthy GSW squad, but that's life (and sports). Before the series, everyone and their dog was saying that even the depleted Warriors would sweep the Raptors. Then, that they'd win it in five. Then in six, if Klay comes back. Then, they said KD was their only hope. Quite the transformation for the Raptors, going from no-hopers to champions in the span of six games.
Btw, rushing KD in to the series only to aggravate his injury was an inhuman thing to do.
Congratulations Raptors. Only few franchises remain without a title. Denver Nuggets, Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic, New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, LA Clippers, Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timber Wolves and Memphis Grizzlies. Marc Gasol came from Grizzlies franchise this year. What a way to get one. Ibaka gets his.
Kawhi is now a super Star. He did what Vince couldn't. He still leaves.

Masai Ujiri is some kind of mastermind. Trading away Toronto icon players like Demar and Valanciunas, firing coach Casey...then taking a gamble on Kawhi with load management, and making a play for Gasol. Just stunning how it all worked out.
Lots of changes for the Summer. Kawahi moved to the Clippers. Durant went to the Nets with Chris Paul. Westbrook went to Houston. Lakers got Cousins and AD. Warriors got Draymond for life, De Angelo Russell, W C-Stein, Kemba Walker to Boston. Those are the notables.
