Can Bangladesh beat Lebanon?

Lebanon Fifa rank - 170 +

BD - 160+

If we BD manage to beat Lebanon this is going to be huge success

Don't think about qualifying now. Progress step by step. First, we have to enter top 20.Then we think more.

The key is 1 game at a time. I'm very keen to going to the 3rd round but Lebanon is on our level and if we mess up in Beirut, we're in trouble. They'll be even more physically superior then Pakistan which will cause trouble to our players. They just have to follow their style and not get too fazed.

They may have physically superior to us but we have to beat them technically.Though their ranking is now below to us, they are better team but they don't play so many international match. This is why their ranking is so bad.

If our players can play good we can draw in their soil and in Dhaka we have to win.

Ya I agree. They have to really focus on being technically superior. I mean Japan is 1 of the smallest teams but they always do well in the WC. That's what the BD players should focus on. A draw in Lebanon would be a job well done. I think that Lebanon would have the same problems as Pakistan in terms of playing on soft grounds.

I hate to say this, but maybe we should play a defensive/counter attack based game in Beirut to ensure that we can get away with at least a draw in the worst case? We should then go for the kill at home. A loss in the away game will put tremendous pressure on us to not only win at home but also overcome the GD.

Agree. Also, if we can draw in the first game, it would put pressure on Lebanon to win it in Dhaka, where we will have the advantage.

Pretty good idea. Playing it safe could be the way to go in Beirut and then in Dhaka we could go for the kill.

Play it safe, settle for a draw, maybe try push a 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 etc... And then make sure it rains somehow (lol) and destroy them like we did to Pakistan.
