ঢাকা: ব্রাদার্সের বিপক্ষে ঘাম ঝরানো জয় নিয়েই গ্রামীণফোন ফেডারেশন কাপের ফাইনালে জায়গা করে নিয়েছে ফেভারিট ঢাকা আবাহনী লিমিটেড। সোমবার প্রথম সেমিফাইনালে প্রতিপক্ষকে ১-০ গোলে হারিয়ে টানা তৃতীয়বারের মতো ফাইনাল নিশ্চিত করলো আকাশী-নীলরা। একমাত্র গোলটি করেন ইমতিয়াজ সুলতান জিতু।
কমলাপুর বীরশ্রেষ্ঠ শহীদ সিপাহী মোস্তফা কামাল স্টেডিয়ামে শুরু থেকেই জমে ওঠে খেলা। পেশাদার লিগের হ্যাট্রটিক চ্যাম্পিয়ন আবাহনীর সামনে ভালো প্রতিরোধ গড়ে তোলে ব্রাদার্স। বিপদমুক্ত থেকে পাল্টা হানা দেয় প্রতিপক্ষের গোল মুখে। ১১ মিনিটে সুযোগ হাত ছাড়া করেন বিদেশি ফরোয়ার্ড বিচা রিচার্ড। আবাহনীর গোলরক্ষক জিয়াকে একা পেয়েও বল বাইরে পাঠান। চার মিনিট বাদেই আবাহনীর সুযোগ এসেছিল। উজ্জ্বলের ক্রস থেকে ফরোয়ার্ড ফ্রাঙ্কের হেডে বল ক্রসবার ঘেঁষে বাইরে চলে যায়।
ব্রাদার্সের পে ম্যাচের সবচেয়ে বড় সুযোগটি এসেছিল ৪০ মিনিটে। ইউসুফের থ্রুতে প্রতিপরে অফসাইড ফাঁদ এড়িয়ে গোলে শট নিয়ে ছিলেন বেনটিল। বিধিবাম সাইডবারে লেগে ফিরে আসে বল। তবে ভাগ্যদেবী সহায় ছিল আবাহনীর পক্ষে। বিরতির ঠিক আগের মিনিটে বাজিমাত করেন জিতু। বাঁম প্রান্ত থেকে ফ্রাঙ্কের বাড়ানো বল প্লেসিং শটে নিশানা ভেদ করেন।
দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে সমতায় ফিরতে মরিয়া হয়ে ওঠে ব্রাদার্স। অবশ্য আবাহনীর রক্ষণদুর্গ ভেত করা সহজ ছিলো না। উল্টো ব্যবধান বাড়িয়ে নেওয়ার সুযোগ এসেছিলো আকাশী-নীলদের। ৮৮ মিনিটে উজ্জ্বল গোল বঞ্চিত করেন। শেষ পর্যন্ত ১-০ তেই শেষ হয় ম্যাচ।
আবাহনীর ইরানি কোচ আলি আকবর পোরমুসলিমি এ জয়ে খুশি,‘‘ প্রথমার্ধে আমরা, দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে ওরা ভালো খেলেছে। যদিও রণভাগের কল্যাণে সমতায় ফিরতে পারেনি তারা। মূলত বিদেশি খেলোয়াড়রাই ম্যাচে দু’দলের পার্থক্য গড়ে দিয়েছেন।’’
অন্যদিকে পরাজয়ের কারণ হিসেবে ব্রাদার্সের ম্যানেজার আমের খান বলেন, প্রথমার্ধের শেষ মিনিটে রণভাগের ভুলেই গোল খেতে হয়েছে আমাদের। যা ম্যাচের ফলাফল গড়ে দিয়েছে।
এ নিয়ে প্রতিযোগিতায় ১৫ বার ফাইনাল খেলছে ঐতিহ্যবাহী দলটি। যার মধ্যে সাতবার শিরোপা জিতেছে। তবে ২০০০ সালের পর দ্বিতীয় স্থানেই সন্তুষ্ট থাকতে হয়েছে আবাহনীকে। এবারে আক্ষেপ ঘোচাতে চায় পেশাদার লিগের হ্যাটট্রিক চ্যাম্পিয়নরা।

মঙ্গলবার দ্বিতীয় সেমিফাইনালে মুক্তিযোদ্ধা সংসদ ও শেখ জামাল ধানমন্ডি কাবের মধ্যকার বিজয়ী দল খেলবে ২৯ অক্টোবরের ফাইনালে।

ঢাকা: গ্রামীণফোন ফেডারেশন কাপের ফাইনালে লে. শেখ জামালকে ৫-৩ গোলে হারিয়ে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছে ঢাকা আবাহনী লিমিটেড। ঘানার স্ট্রাইকার আউদু ইব্রাহিমের হ্যাটট্রিক গোলের সুবাদে ১০ বছর পর আবারো শিরোপা জিতলো আকাশী-নীলরা।
কমলাপুর বীরশ্রেষ্ঠ সিপাহী মোস্তফা কামাল স্টেডিয়ামে টুর্নামেন্টের ফাইনালের নির্ধারিত সময় ৩-৩ গোলে সমতা থাকলেও অতিরিক্ত সময়ে ইউসুফ আমিনুল ও ইব্রাহিমের গোলে বড় জয় পায় আবাহনী। সেই সঙ্গে ফেডারেশন কাপের শিরোপা খরা কাটিয়ে অষ্টমবারের মতো শিরোপা ঘরে তুললো প্রাণতোষ বাহিনী।
ম্যাচের শুরুতে আক্রমণটাও ছিলো তারকা নির্ভর দল শেখ জামালের খেলোয়াড়দের পক্ষ থেকেই। ২ মিনিটে এনামুলের ফ্রি কিক থেকে রেজাউলের হেড লক্ষ্য ভ্রষ্ট না হলে ভালোই ভুগতে হতো আবাহনীকে। ৪ মিনিটে পুনরায় আক্রমণে যায় ফেভারিটরা। বক্স থেকে আবাহনীর আফ্রিকান স্ট্রাইকার ফ্র্যাঙ্কের কোনাকোনি শট অভিজ্ঞ গোলরক আমিনুল ফিষ্ট করে এ যাত্রায় বাঁচিয়ে দেন শেখ জামালকে। ২৪ মিনিটে সহজ সুযোগ নষ্ট করেন আউদু ইব্রাহিম। গোলরক্ষককে একা পেয়েও তার মাটি কামরানো শটে বল সাইড বার ঘেসে বাইরে চলে যায়।
তবে ৩১ মিনিটে এগিয়ে যায় নবাগতরা। জাহিদের ক্রস থেকে দেশ সেরা স্ট্রাইকার এনামুল জালে বল জড়ালে ১-০ তে এগিয়ে যায় শেখ জামাল। অবশ্য এক মিনিট পরই সমতায় ফেরে আবাহনী। সেন্টার থেকে উজ্জ্বলের লবে বক্সের ভেতরে বল পেয়ে যান ফ্র্যাঙ্ক। বল পেয়েই তিনি দ্রুত গতিতে বাড়িয়ে দেন ইব্রাহিমের দিকে। আমিনুলের চোখ ফাঁকি দিয়ে বল জালে জড়িয়ে দেন ইব্রাহিম। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে উল্লাসে ফেটে পড়ে আবাহনীর গ্যালারী।
দ্বিতীয়ার্ধের শুরুতে পুনরায় গোলের দেখা পেয়ে যায় শেখ জামাল। ৪৭ মিনিটে এমিলির ক্রস থেকে স্ট্রাইকার এনামুলের হেড জালে জড়ালে ২-১ এ এগিয়ে যায় আমিনুল বাহিনী। দুই মিনিট পরই পেনাল্টি পায় আবাহনী। জিতুর শটে বল বক্সে দাঁড়ানো জাহিদের হাতে লাগলে রেফারী আজাদ রহমান পেনাল্টির বাঁশি বাজান। স্পট কিক থেকে গোল করে আবারও প্রাণতোষ বাহিনীকে সমতায় ফেরান ফ্র্যাঙ্ক (২-২)।
৭৯ মিনিটে আরও একটি সুযোগ কাজে লাগিয়ে ফেলে আবাহনীর আক্রমণ ভাগের ফুটবলাররা। বক্সে বল পেয়ে আউদু ইব্রাহিমের শট তিন ডিফেন্ডারের মাঝ দিয়ে জালে জাড়ালে ৩-২ গোলে এগিয়ে যায় ফেভারিটর আবাহনী। গ্যালারীতে তখন থেকেই জয়ের উৎসব করতে থাকেন আবাহনীর সমর্থকরা। তবে তাদের থামিয়ে দেন শেখ জামালের মামুন। ৮৫ মিনিটে বক্সের বাইরে থেকে মামুনের দূর পালার শটে পরাস্ত হন আবাহনীর গোলরক্ষক জিয়া। সে সঙ্গে ৩-৩ গোলে সমতায় ফেরে শেখ জামাল।
নির্ধারিত সময়ের খেলা অমীমাংসিতভাবে শেষ হলে অতিরিক্ত ৩০ মিনিটে গড়ায় ম্যাচ। অতিরিক্ত সময়ের প্রথমার্ধে উত্তেজনা থাকলেও গোলের দেখা মেলেনি কোন শিবিরেরই। দ্বিতীয়ার্ধের ১২ মিনিটে দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে যায় শেখ জামাল শিবিরে। নির্ধারিত সময়ে হাতে বল লাগায় এবং অতিরিক্ত সময়ে রেফারী বাঁশি বাজালেও বলে কিক করায় লাল কার্ড দেখে মাঠ ছাড়েন রেজাউল করিম। ফলে বাকি সময়টুকু ১০ জনকে নিয়ে খেলতে হয় শেখ জামাল ধানমন্ডি ক্লাববক।
অতিরিক্ত সময়ের ২১ মিনিটে বাঁ প্রান্ত দিয়ে উজ্জ্বল কর্নার কিক নিলে বক্সে দাঁড়ানো সুযোগ সন্ধানী ইউসুফ শট করলে বোকা বনেন দেশ সেরা গোলরক্ষক আমিনুল। শেষ বাঁশি বাজার আগে শেখ জামালের হারের কফিনে শেষ পেরেক ঠোকেন ইব্রাহিম। শুভ্রের ফ্রি কিক থেকে বল বক্সের ভেতর থাকা ইব্রাহিম বুক দিয়ে নামিয়েই তীব্র শটে নিশানাভেদ করেন।
ম্যাচ শেষে বিজয়ীদের মাঝে পুরুস্কার বিতরণ করেন অর্থমন্ত্রী আবুল মাল আব্দুল মুহিত। পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠানে বসুন্ধরা গ্রুপের কর্মকর্তা হুমায়ুন কবির ফেয়ার প্লের জন্য মুক্তিযোদ্ধার খেলোয়াড় জেমস মগাকে এক লাখ টাকা প্রদান করেন।
এছাড়া ফাইনালে গোল করা আবাহনীর আউদু ইব্রাহিম ও শেখ জামালের ফরোয়ার্ড এনামুলকে এক লাখ টাকা করে প্রদান করা হয়। ফাইনালে গোল দেওয়া অন্যান্যদের ৫০ হাজার টাকা করে প্রদান করা হয়।

I'm the biggest Abahani Fan. It started since childhood. I had Abahani jersy,flags,coat pin, club magazine etc. I inherit abahani love from my dad. I had memories like me and my dad cruising through stadium market to get Abahani kits when I was eight years old. My first abahani match was vs brothers in 86 -I was only 6..believe me....people told my dad crazy that he brought me to the packed stadium....huge fight broke after the match ended 1-1 and I had my first taste of police teargas...lol. still now I have the same passion ...i even went abahani hockey match 2 years ago while I was visiting dhaka ...haha...sounds crazy,eh!

I have kind of same story but my dad never took me to the stadium to watch. but he did bought me flags and gears. I had one of the tallest bamboo post flag on the side of the airport road which was seized by police after some time, after which i cried for long time... Big fan of Munna... Abahani management is so good seems like even if play they can become champion lol

You have to give the coach a fair amount of time to expect any results.

If our infrastructure in our cricket is so poor just imagine how poor it is in soccer? Soccer is the 2nd sport for BD and yet the infrastructure is nonexistent. We just cannot compete with teams such as Uzbekistan, UAE, and Hong Kong with the system and players we have. Just hiring a foreign coach is not good enough.
