Man City 1-3 Arsenal
Quote:
Emmanuel Adebayor scored twice as stylish Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League and put an end to Manchester City's unbeaten home record.
Adebayor set Arsenal on their way, sweeping the ball in from close range.
And Eduardo's acrobatic turn and volley made it 2-0 from Adebayor's clever header after another glorious move.
City replied when Vedran Corluka dispossessed Gael Clichy and found Gelson Fernandes but Adebayor sealed the win from close range late on.

Arsenal 0-0 AC Milan
Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor missed a glorious late chance to win his side's goalless Champions League last-16 first-leg tie against AC Milan.
Adebayor's point-blank header struck the crossbar in injury-time after the Gunners had dominated the second half.
Emmanuel Eboue dragged a shot wide and Nicklas Bendtner fired high from eight yards in earlier chances for Arsenal.

AC Milan 0-2 Arsenal (agg 0-2)
Quote:
Arsenal struck twice late on to become the first English team to beat AC Milan in the San Siro and deservedly reach the last eight of the Champions League.
Arsene Wenger's side produced a virtuoso display but had to wait until the 84th minute before Cesc Fabregas fired in a low 30-yard finish.
Emmanuel Adebayor then turned in Theo Walcott's cross in injury time to send the holders crashing out.
Fabregas hit the bar in the first-half as Arsenal dominated almost throughout.

Win can set up double - Fabregas
Quote:
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas claims the Gunners are good enough to win this season's Champions League and Premier League following the win over AC Milan.
Arsenal won 2-0 to become the first English side to beat AC Milan at the San Siro as they knocked the holders out of the Champions League on Tuesday.
"We are top of the Premier League and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League," said Fabregas, 20.
"We beat the holders at home, so why can't we win them both?"

good time to be a Mancity fan i guess.....
no worries Arsenal fan, you'll bounce back.... once Wenger comes to his senses....
but I have to add, the whole Adebayor & the Arsenal fans thing is getting very dramatic. Its like the treatment figo got from the Barca fans when he moved to madrid....
