Just 2 points from that round. There were enough chances for the teams to live upto my scoreline but NO they were hell bent on holding me back.
For tomorrow:
Eng 2-1 Ecuador
Port 2-1 Holland
For Monday:
Italy 2-0 Australia (even though I want Australia to win but the Italians may win on experience)
Swiss 1-0 Ukraine (can anyone tell me what these two teams are doing in the second round and why one of them will move on to the quarter finals ?)

There is some adjustment due to the nature of knock out round. In case of a tie after xtra time, the point system proposed by MR Cricket (Post no 266) would be followed.
Here is Today's Prediction
England - Ecuador
Tehsin/Miraz/HB 2:1 (Eng)
ialbd 3:1 (Eng)
BangladeshFan 1:2 (Ecu)
Best 1:1 (Ecu winning on penalty) (though in the other prediction thread a predicted differntly; that was yesterday's thinking)
Portugal - Holland
Tehsin/ialbd/HB 2:1 (P)
Miraz 2:2 (Hol winning in penalty)
Bangladeshfan 1:1 (Port. winning on penalty)
Best 1:2 (H)

Miraz,
you are a very good teacher. Never misses the silly mistakes. And I always made silly mistakes. The first recorded case is in primary scholarship exam and the last one you just mentioned.

Ah, should have gone for the 1-0. That's all England is good for, eehehehhe. Kidding. If you are an English fan, please don't get drunk and beat me up. I was rooting for them too. Except, judging by the four matches so far, I don't think they are good enough to win the world cup.

Agreed. They need to raise their game otherwise no chance.

C. Ronaldo could also be out through injury. They are gonna miss some key players...
That ref was nuts. He was giving cards left, right and centre. The players were smart, realising the referee's trigger happy mentality, they made the most out of every tackle, hoping to get the other player disciplined. They succeeded...
