The squad reported in this scorecard may not be accurate, Shadman is currently batting for Agrani Bank: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njIsJ3UsW5k

Thanks for sharing the live link. Great these kind of games are being covered even for a team of not so great repute (Ireland just incase you are confused )
Sarkar is playing like a beast. Just wished he had continued that exceptional batting from those long forgotten Pak and S Africa games.
This commie makes Shamimcha sound like Nasser Hossain

These opener batsman are so bolod. All got out to simple deliveries
Oh the earth is shaking, that can only mean the baby elephant is walking up to the crease YASIR ALI.
Dont know if the commie was making a joke but he claimed Yasir Ali is a "POPULAR FIGURE"

How the heck Soumya still gets a place in BCB XI?!!!
And who the heck are Ashfak Ahmed Rohan and Rabbi Hasan Akash?!!! I hope Soumya and those two are only there to carry water and substitute as fielders.

Dipu is from 2020 U/19 World Cup Champion team. He has been a regular squad member of A-team/HP squad for last one year or so, so no surprise there.
Rohan is the top scorer from recently concluded Dhaka First Division League (the level below Dhaka Premier League).

Shoriful has become a garbage bowler, Stirling is milking him with ease. It's long due that Mrittunjoy be given a chance in place of his former U/19 bowling partner.

Match curtailed due to late start - each innings will have 43 overs.

Soumya got a lucky arm - Stirling gone after being well set!
Think the ball is coming lower than expected, now that it has become softer, kinda like what happened in the last T20I match against England.

As per Prothom Alo, Afif expressed his frustration to Hathuru that he's not getting opportunity to bat in his preferred top order position, being stuck in late order, whereas a new comer like Hridoy is batting ahead of Shakib. Hathuru asked him to be patient, but said he right now can't accommodate another lefty in between Shanto and Shakib.

IMO, Afif's vulnerability against spin will make him a liability even at top order when we play against Afghanistan or other Asian sides. He got to overcome it, oppositions by now are well aware of his weaknesses. IMO, he should consider himself lucky that a performer like Riyad been axed from the ODI team, while he's still in the squad.

Afif is not a top order batter, IMO.
Mosaddek and Yasir have far better batting pedigrees and they had to bat down the order - and IMO that lead to their downfall.
Hridoy is a top order batter but he too is going to have to carve out a spot in the 6 slot until retirements make room for him up top.

Really looking forward to this tour. We are in for an unmericful thrashing in the Test, but just the thought og us playing 4 Tests in 3 months after no FC cricket for 5 years gets me excited, can't wait to follow it.
It's a shame we#ve so many injuries, Little and McCarthy is a big blow, but Young is back at least.
I'd be hopeful we can be competitive in a few of the games, but given the inexperience in Bangladesh I'd not be surprised if tomorrow's game is a bit of a hameering, we tend to take our time in acclimatising.
Keep an eye on Humprey's. Irish spinners are always incrediblt raw and udnercooked due to the lack of bowling time/facilities they get (case in point, Ben White), but Humprhey's seems to be exciting a few and he did brilliantly for the U19's, really looking forward to seeing him (albeit, he probably won't play the first couple games).

You guys should just take this series to learn about our vulnerabilities that you can exploit in the may series. That's the series that matters and you guys need a whitewash for that last world cup auto qualification
I will be rooting against my country for the first time ever, do whatever you guys need in that may series and auto qualify for the world cup
I just want one of the big boys(SL/SA/WI) out of the world cup..a great slap to icc

A run fest is expected at Sylhet tomorrow. With lack of turn expected, Shakib has been seen bowling faster with a decent run up in the nets.
With Irish batting order pretty much made of right handers, I would go with both Shakib and Nasum in this match.

Ram Bolod Yasir makes the team again.
He might make a cameo which doesn’t really mean anything
