The best newcomer in this World Cup
Many new players caught my eyes with their spectecular performance. Who do you think is the best newcomer in this worldcup? Podolsky won the award for the best young player of this world cup. Do you agree? If you don't find the one you are looking for in the pool, say his name and explain why you like him.

podolsky definitely deserves the award; he has been pretty dangerous with his breaks-in to the opposition defence and his deadly passes across to Klose along with his accurate finishing. he and Klose make an ideal pair up front for germany.
other than that, it was a pity that messi didn't get to start earlier than he did this time. i think he can do wonders for argentina in the future. i also liked the way christiano ronaldo kept his cool at the brink of portugal's victory over england (albeit being an english fan), and was impressed by the way he dribbled his way into the penalty area on so many occassions. too bad he didn't score more often.

I definately do not agree with the podolski's award.
Has to be Messi. Pokimon (Pekerman) is stupid.

Unfortunate for Messi - he did not have a fair share of chance that he deserved. He showed what he can do. Podolski got all the chance. Ribery was excellent in last few games. In the end I think Podolski was a good choice - we cannot judge on the basis of "what if" - what if Messi played all the games and performed badly? We have to judge on the basis of what the "facts" are.

messi was impressive, he could have won that award if he wasn't injured

even though i like messi very much, i think the best new comer definitely was riberi. very hard working, good dribbling, he makes up for the slow aging partners in the midfield zidane and vierra. looks like a "muscateer"?
