I think it’s only fair that a new look T20 squad is setup for the WC next year. It has been proven time and again that the same set of players who are delivering results in ODIs cannot perform in T20s for some strange reason. We may get hammered in this series with all these new players but will be excellent exposure for the future.

^ speaking of Tamim, when he started to mature up and get better at batting, his SR was mostly above 100. Then during one of his interview, he stated that management/coach told him to play the anchor role. No other country does something stupid like this except BD. You had a perfectly good attacking opener, made him transform into what he is today ... Makes no sense to me honestly.

LOL probably true. But I am not watching ball by ball. But for BD, I always check scores in the periphery and log in when things get slightly interesting. Its just a habit.

OUr openers stills suck so much. Tamim has been shielding us from the fact how poor we are. Future is dark. somehow we got lucky with few good players all at the same time and that's been carrying us for past decade. There has been no improvement. Same low quality domestic league and lack of good players emerging exist...

and maybe have poor work ethics as well.. how do we become u-19 world champs but the performances do not trasfer over to national team.
