Anyone who ever thought that McGregor had even the slightest of chances in this fight is an idiot. You can't just decide to change your profession and make an instant impact in it against athletes who have devoted their whole life to boxing.

Maybe the combat nature of boxing distracts people, people think that since it's just hands involved anyone with some fighting skill can be a good boxer. But boxing is a sport at the end of the day and like any other sport there is science behind it.

McGregor would struggle against the 50th ranked boxer in that division let alone one of the greatest of all-time and undoubtedly the greatest defensive boxer of all-time who has mastered the science of boxing. I think even McGregor knows that he doesn't stand a chance but congrats to him and Floyd, they have swindled people big time and substantially increased their net worths.
