They have truly turned a corner, while we keep plummeting to new lows. Just imagine us trying to keep possession against Thailand, let alone scoring goals.

বিভিন্ন অনিয়ম ও অর্থ আত্মসাতের অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে বাংলাদেশ ফুটবল ফেডারেশনের সভাপতি কাজী সালাউদ্দিনকে চিঠি দিয়েছে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন (দুদক)। অভিযুক্তদের তালিকায় আছেন বাফুফের নির্বাহী সদস্য ও মহিলা কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান মাহফুজা আক্তার কিরণ এবং প্রধান হিসাব কর্মকর্তা আবু হোসেন। সভাপতি বরাবর পাঠানো চিঠিতে আনা হয়েছে বেশ কয়েকটি অভিযোগ ।

বাফুফের সাধারণ সম্পাদক আবু নাইম সোহাগ দুদকের চিঠি পাওয়ার কথা স্বীকার করেছেন।

ACC alleges BFF of fund embezzlement

Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent a letter to the Bangladesh Football Federation, bringing allegation against its president Kazi Salahuddin of fund embezzlement.

The letter, signed by ACC’s deputy director Mohammad Nasiruddin and addressed to BFF’s chief financial officer Abu Hossain, asked questions regarding expenditures of its various activities. The letter also asked the game’s local governing body to produce documents regarding the allegations before the ACC officials within February 7.

Was about to say, Bd women's soccer may be the only world class outfit in the country.
It is no easy feat beating UAE, Krygstan and Mongolia, all of who have fantastic soccer programs.

But Laos itself is a revelation in this cup! They have been killing all teams. Let's hope the women can beat them in the finals, though it seems that our defense won't be able to stop their attack. We will have to outscore them.

The result is a welcome news for all the football fans in Bangladesh as it means that they would be able watch the national team in action in the upcoming years more regularly including the main qualifying round of FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023.

Not a bad draw for Bangladesh for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers tbh.

Shame our current team lacks the skills. India will love this and fancy a top-2 finish to get to the next round and qualify for 2023 Asia Cup.

^ Well, not an easy draw either! Ind and Afg have vastly improved and quietly left all other South Asian teams behind. We did beat Qatar recently, but it was a fluke. They too, are a strong team, have always been a good team from Middle east.

Oman, I don't know anything about their form. But they are ranked well.

Ranking wise, beating Afg might be our best shot. But if you have watched them play recently in the SAFF games (I did), you can tell the difference in quality. They are just way more faster, and fluid.

I hate to be so blunt about it. It really is a shame how neglected soccer has become in Bd.
