Default Sports in Bangladesh
Hi,

The Olympic Games are now just a few days away and we would like to talk about sports.
What sports are the most popular and/or unusual in Bangladesh?
Are sports facilities easily accessible there? Where and how can one find sports clubs in the region? Are there sports events regularly held in the country? And you? What is your favourite sport? Which one(s) do you practice in Bangladesh?



Please help.

Wow first post and coming to a cricket forum to ask about Olympics. Thats like going to a mosque and asking when Passover is.

First of all the next Olympics is in 2020 so you made a hash there. and you say "we" who do you mean? What is your intention to know about all of this??

Bruce should be banned...He is violating BC Rules and opening account and post/thread with total bullsh!t saying the Olympic is right around the corner and trying to promote webs/companies to sell crap to BC members! Like we will fall for these!

Taekwondo is one of the most prospective sports in Bangladesh.

Basket ball is also very popular in Bangladesh. Many people in Bangladesh support Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets.

are you sure? are you sure you didnt just see some kids wearing what they see in hollywood movies? I've never heard of basketball being popular in BD, let alone irrelevant teams like the wolves and the nugggets.
