BTW, i watched Clemson's routing of Syracuse last Saturday..I think they have a top class QB in WAtson...he might be a good pick for failing NFL teams...or even might go to a team like the Packers, who will groom him like they did with Rodgers...
I'm saying this because I'm a Packers fan

Packers are not going to draft a QB in first 5 rounds.
Watson is 1st rounder. Most likely #1 QB taken. He is a Junior and the coach has already planning him and 3 other juniors to go out with the seniors in a senior night. Clemson has a great chance to be in the finals. I still think L'ville is better and has a better QB. Lamar Jackson will be a monster in near future. His game is just a highlight film. He is that good. The game he lost against Clemson, I blame entirely on the coaching staff in managing the last drive.
Michael Vick has said already that Lamar Jackson is miles ahead of him at this age. We all know what Vick did when he was at the hokies (Va Tech) Falcons (before jail time).

What a week in college football. It would have been perfect if the Hogs would win but they lost to a good LSU team. I personally thought they quit playing the game. Right before the half time they had a shot with a minute something left with 21-7 behind. &(^%&^%(&*^%)&
Anyways, unranked Iowa won over #3 Michigan (away).
Unranked Pitt beat #2 Clemson (home).
Unranked So Cal beat #4 Washington (home).
Auburn lost @ Georgia.
A&M lost against Ole Miss at home.
I love all the upsets.

Mississippi lost @ Kentucky. 1.5 points dog won! 40-38 Kentucky won.
Auburn lost @ Georgia. 2.5 points fav won. 13-7 Georgia won.
Ole Miss lost @ Vandy. 2o points dog won!!! 38-17 Vandy. Wow!!!
LSU lost @home against Flordia . 13.5 points dog won!!! 16-10 Florida.
Shocking, knowing the odds.

Michigan-Ohio State was a classic. I felt that the 4th down call that was awarded a 1st down for Ohio State in 2nd overtime was a bad call, QB didn't cross the plane...but since it was given the benefit of the doubt, I respect it in retrospect, unlike Jim Harbaugh:
Quote:
Michigan Coach Jim Harbaugh held his hands about a half-yard apart and said, "My view of the first down is it was- that short."
|
The crowd present at the stadium was 105,000. I have never seen a football game with an atmosphere like this.

Typical Harb can't win the big games.
Typical Harb calls don't go his way in the big games.
Typical Harb having a melt down.

He rose to the occasion, saw the spark of talent while watching this game a few months ago.
Many are saying that just because he's not that tall that he would not be a first rounder in the draft-- that's what I've been hearing on the sport-talk radio prior to the Championship game.
Different conversation now

New season, new hope!!!
Week 1 is over. Lots of unknown. Week 2 will decide who are playing best. This week definitely PAC12 wins the honor.
Few eye opening results. Bama demolishes Fl State's any hope this season and gave Clemson an early gift by knocking Seminoles QB out for the season.

Cal beat UNC, Maryland beat Texas, LSU beat BYU, Michigan beat Florida.
Shocker Baylor lost to Liberty. FCS School.
NC State lost to USC. Texas A&M lost to UCLA. 34 unanswered points to win the game by 1. A&M was leading 44-10 at one point.

Tenn wins a double over time game against Georgia Tech.
Over rated. Georgia loses her QB. So does Florida State.

Well, week five finished. 1/3+ of the season has gone. Contenders and pretenders are being separated.
Bama. Clemson. Oklahoma/TCU. Some one from PAC12. Big 10 gets the shaft. Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State are good but not top 4 good as of yet.

(13) Miami at FSU. FSU unranked. wow!!!!
(12) N Dame at UNC. lol. N dame ranked? Who did they play?
WVU at TCU. Both ranked. Good game.
Bama at A&M. Bama crashes.

Some major shakeup happened this weekend. Clemson the defending champs lost @Syracuse 24-27.
Washington and Wa State both lost. PAC10's worst nightmare.
Okhallama barely beat Horns. Auburn lost @LSU. What the...?

After all the hoopla the stage has been set.
1. Clemson Defending champ (ACC Champ)
2. Georgia (SEC Champ)
3. Oklahoma (Big12 Champ)
4. Alabama (Committee Champ, lol)
Left out USC (Chors), Ohio State (Sneaky B).

Football is with THE FOOT!
the correct term would be "Handball with occasional kicking."
