What an Olympic Team GB is having - 14 GOLD in total... 6 today, 3 of which came from the athletics - for the first time ever in history 3 GOLD in a track and field session. Briiliant. Proud of GB.
For me - this Olympic is the most memorable, simply because it is unfolding infront of me.... mostly 10 mins down the road. A little further than 10 mins down the road, I went to Wembley Arena today to watch Senegal v Mexico QF. Brilliant match. Mex won 4-2 in the extra time but I had the most shocking moment of my life - my dad collapsed on me towards the end of the match. Paramedics came within mins which I found amazing in a stadium packed by 87K spectators. He was rushed to the hospital within the hour. Initially I thought he suffered a stroke but thanks to Allah, he only fainted due to de-hydration!
The Game continues..

I like Saina's attitude. She got the bronze, was happy that she did (especially for her country in a physically demanding sport), but didn't go overboard because of a couple of reasons:
1) she had set her sights higher, and
2) the fact that her opponent who was actually leading the match, retired hurt and she got the medal in the process.
She was playing well enough to possibly take the match to an exciting 3rd set we all missed out on. I'm officially a fan now

Knowing him, he'll now go hit the cricket pitch and bowl Chris Gayle out.

With a name like Bolt, you cannot but help win the 100m dash. It's been preordained.

^I went to the Montreal Olympics with my dad and then the Moscow Olympics with my grandfather. Nadia, Olga, Kim and Turishcheva all were out of this world. I still recall Nadia's perfect 10, the first ever!
