Series Preview
We ended the last World Cup on a high note with an 8 run win over Australia
in the Plate Finals. However, it wasn't enough to overshadow our failure
to get into the Super League. This time around, failure is not an option
and the hopes are high. The team clinched the Tri-Nation
Tournament with a 6 wickets win over WC hosts Sri Lanka. The team
won 5 of its 6 group matches against Sri Lanka and England and the fans
want a repeat performance when we face Pakistan, New Zealand, and Uganda
in the group stages. Two wins will ensure a place in the Super League.
The Bangladesh under-19 side starts their World Cup campaign on February
5 against New Zealand. more news
