Sri Lanka won by 75 runs
Sri Lanka rode on Upul Tharanga's maiden century
to clinch a one-day series against Bangladesh with a 75-run victory in
the second of the 3-ODI series. Bangladesh, who lost the opening game of
the three-match series by 88 runs on Wednesday, finished at 220-6 to
concede the series to Sri Lanka. Opener Shahriar Nafees top-scored with

Match Reports:
SL Innings
Sri Lanka was made to bat first by Habibul Bashar and the home team posted
a respectable 270, aided in no small part by an ordinary day in the field
from Bangladesh. Syed Rasel had a memorable debut, capturing two wickets
and bowling tidily in general. But the Bangladeshi top order failed once
again and the match was practically over before the halfway mark of Bangladesh
innings. Khaled Mashud batted out the rest of the overs with tailenders
only to delay the obvious.
