Exclamation West Indies to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20s against Bangladesh!

Just saw this in FB. Please dont kill me for posting an unconfirmed rumor. I thought its highly unlikely something this specific would get posted without any confirmation. The news states that the 4 nation tournament plan did not go through and instead West Indies are coming to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20s around November-December.

Good move I would say. We have a fair shot at sweeping the ODI series and its always a good experience to play T20 cricket against West Indies who are very good at this format.

Before sep would have been better.

Also,

Sl have only one series year and that is against Pakistan.

Can we invite/visit them to play 3/5 odis?

Wake up bcb I'm sure SL Won't mind playing us if we approach them as they hardly have any international cricket this year...

Well I think we have enough cricket in hands for this year already. We are not yet ready to play this many series in a year. We are hosting India, South Africa, Australia and now West Indies. We already had a busy start to the year with WC and the Pakistan tour. I would say this is sufficient enough for 2015. Maybe BCB can start planning for 2016.

But good move! Not only did they manage to invite India for both test and ODI, and convince Pakistan to come in after the early debate, they are also targeting West Indies now for more games.

Amazing what WC quarter final qualification and string of wins can do in terms of tours!

Would have preferred a couple of test matches vs the Windies but do like the fact we are getting 3 T20Is as we do need more exposure in this format and increase our ratings in it.

We have a packed year it seems if this happens. We should try to sneak in SL as well like Nadim said.

Not bad, don't forget that Aus is ONLY touring for 2 tests.

Good signs for us. In the next few years we were expecting few tours but looks like more and more boards want us to play with their team.

I think WI might readjust the timing and may come before sep too, if they fail to get a ODI series against Aus before that, just to knock us out of 8 or be knocked out ... Depending on What Pakistan does against SL too ...

I knew with resurgent BD, we will be loaded with cricket in coming months and years ..

Today Inqilab also mentioned there is a very good probability of hosting WI in Nov-Dec.

No test matches? They are our best shot at a win within the G8 and plus the Windian 'Sangakkarra' aka Chanderpaul is out of form and most likely to retire soon!

^^Just months before T20I WC? Makes sense not to have any Test. Rather finish this tour early and let BPL 3 roll.

IMO, we should scrap out Tests from Zim tour (Jan-Feb'16) also. A prolonged tour before Asia Cup/T20I WC increase chance of injury, and us sending a depleted and under prepared team to those tournys.

BCB decided to host BPL in December. This series will not take place.

Who cares about T20 world cup. We need to play as many tests as possible!!

Imo we shouldn't avoid tests, think of those players who are only in the test team.... Why would they be motivated to perform if you make it look unimportant? And what's their part in the series?? Even if that's just one test, it should be there.

We do have a lot of difference in text and T20 teams. And We also have a lots of T20 players, we could make up for the injury, if any...

There should be no series without Test

I don't want it to happen in Bangladesh & I'm sure these matches will soon become a place for political manifestation of our pathetic political parties on either side. I'm sure we will have our people fighting publicly over India/Pakistan during the tour. No need more public manifestation of "Lejoor-Britti"
