Realistic breakdown

Obviously not as good as a Prime Rassel (not many were) and he's only 19.

Pace is about 78-83Mph, about 128-135

Swings it well, not as much as rasel, excellent when taking it away from the right hander, decent when he brings it back in.

Decent bounce, Excellent Line, Good Length.

Not the sort to bang it in and take teams out with aggression, will never be a fast bowler, but no need if he can keep developing, he could he as good as Vaas (maybe pushing it), He's got a decent size frame about 6'0'', but needs to add about 5-10 pounds of muscle to avoid injuries

Can see him being an excellent line and length player with swing in the future, if he improves and works hard, he could be a Left Handed Jimmy Anderson

In addition to that he can win you ODI matches in NZ and England condition. He has potential to be our main strike bowler for the 2019 WC in England.

MashAllah, our very own Starc in the making.
Great job today. It took our new youngsters to win the T20 match against Pakistan.

He is shorter than Mash. So may be 5.10

Mash is 6'1"...Mustafiz is about 5'11" and that is what CI says on his profile as well. CI is usually pretty accurate with their heights when they report it.

He looks to be a fast medium, a lot quicker than Rasel. His ball to Afridi was probably around 135 k if not faster. Only saw the highlights of his two wicket balls...if he was moving the ball as much as he was, then we have a very good prospect on our hands.

He showed pace means nothing even slow peace can take wicket and keep run rate down. If you know how to bowl well.

Good lad with excellent set of skills. Should be nurtured properly. Left arm fast bowler is a rare commodity in Bangladesh.

What are you saying? Rasel was never a proper pacer even, he was slow slow medium, a little faster than the SLA's yes he got some successes due to accuracy & abnormal lack of pace, but never anything phenomenal, so if you say he isn't as good as Rasel, then I must say something is wrong here.

I saw him in patches today, he looked to be pretty good medium pacer, swinging the ball & using wrist positions and angles of delivery pretty effectively.

My question is, why is he only drafted for T20s and not for any other format? He seems to be a wicket taking bowler than containing, why is he not considered for Test/ODI?

Answer to your question should be obvious - a 19 years old boy who became a professional cricketer just last year (he was not even in age group pipeline, was discovered two years before the last U/19 WC), you want to be very careful how you build him up. I am glad that our selectors/management moving away from that old tendency of cutting the goose's belly to get to the golden egg faster.

Pretty sure he averages 135kph. He can get a little faster with age and a little buildup. Good prospect.

Today's win is a blip in the rudder compared to the arrival of Mustafizur Rahman.

Well, Mohammad Shahid has been taken in the test team, I don't know if he has a maturity certificate irrespective of Age, like Mustafiz has & has displayed his performance today. What's there to be so much careful with him & not Shahid?? OR is Mohammad Shahid expendable ? He's not going to be the first 19 yo playing international matche. T20 wasn't the easiest format to debut either.

"Mashrafe, Afridi go gaga over debutant Mustafizur Rahman" : http://m.bdnews24.com/en/detail/cricket/959599

Both captains said that his now,ing was pretty matured and with a lots of variation. While Mohammad Shahid has no international exposure ..

Anyway, if Mohammad Shahid is a better pacer than Mustafiz I have no issue. Let's see ..

The biggest improvement in bowling in my eyes is giving so less extra runs. I can remember starting from the WC matches not many wides or no balls. This is really exciting time for us!
