আল আমিন, নাঈমের জন্য দুঃসংবাদ—ইংল্যান� �ডের বিপক্ষে স্থান নির্ধারণী ম্যাচে আম্পায়ারের দৃষ্টিতে প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ হয়েছে তাঁদের বোলিং অ্যাকশন। টুর্নামেন্টে তাঁরা এর পরও বল করলেও দুজনের বোলিং অ্যাকশনকেই সন্দেহজনক বলেছেন আম্পায়াররা। দলের সঙ্গে দেশে না ফিরে তাই বোলিং অ্যাকশনের পরীক্ষা দিতে তাঁরা যাচ্ছেন ক্যানবেরায়।

অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় বাংলাদেশ অনূর্ধ্ব-১৯ দলের সঙ্গে ছিলেন হাবিবুল বাশার। পরশু দেশে ফেরা এই নির্বাচক কাল জানিয়েছেন, ‘আম্পায়ারের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের বোলিং অ্যাকশন সন্দেহজনক। বোলিং অ্যাকশনের পরীক্ষা দিতে দুজনই ক্যানবেরায় যাচ্ছে। সেখানে অ্যাকশনে কোনো সমস্যা পাওয়া না গেলে আল আমিন ও নাঈম বোলিং চালিয়ে যেতে পারবে। আর সন্দেহ সত্যি প্রমাণিত হলে বোলিং অ্যাকশন ঠিক করতে হবে।’

কাপ পর্বে খেলার লক্ষ্য নিয়ে যুব বিশ্বকাপে গিয়েছিল বাংলাদেশ যুবদল। সে লক্ষ্য পূরণ করেও কোয়ার্টার ফাইনালে হেরে গেছে স্বাগতিক অস্ট্রেলিয়ার কাছে। এরপর পঞ্চম স্থান নির্ধারণী ম্যাচে ইংল্যান্ডের কাছেও হার। শেষ ম্যাচে অবশ্য পাকিস্তান অনূর্ধ্ব-১৯ দলকে হারিয়ে টুর্নামেন্টে সপ্তম হয়েছে বাংলাদেশ।
