Mashrafee is an ICON player of Bangladesh... even if he is not for Dhaka Gladiators!! He is even more respected than Shakib and definitely more than Ashraful..

I didn't mind Mash not being an icon player. He was injured so I was fine with that but Mahmudullah is from Mymensingh so he would fall under the Dhaka division. So in that way he should have been there.

- joking. I thought we'd chase 145, not an easy total, but felt we were good enough to chase it down. Not on this night - oh well, bring on the next match!

But, one thing for sure, Aftab must be dropped. Don't know why they dropped Nazim just after one match.

Aftab needs to get dropped and they need to bring back Nazim. Don't know why Nazim got dropped after just 1 game. Also Dhiman needs to get a chance ahead of Ash. Ash hasn't been horrible but he hasn't been anything significant so far.

So Law is getting all this stick for Sylhet not performing but what about Pont? We already knew that Sylhet would be the weakest team in the BPL so no real surprise that their performing poorly but Dhaka was supposed to be 1 of the strongest teams and now their #5 on the table. To me they're the most disappointing team now. Well there are 4 more games to go so they have time to fix up their mistakes but they better do it quickly.

We'll see. They've had 2 good wins against Barisal and Chittagong but they've failed against Khulna and Rajshahi, 2 of the best teams now in the BPL. So they've been really inconsistent.

Raman Lamba was hit on the head on the 22nd Feb exactly 14 years ago in dhaka and died due to a burst. Nazir got hit on the head on the same date and survived . Allah malik!!! what a co-incidence

Seriously coincidental. But on Raman's instance it was Mehrab Opi pulled the ball really hard and ball hit Raman who was standing on short leg (I think)
