west indies had bad batting performance in mirpur . Do you guys think this pitch was the reason for bangladeshs bad performance.

Er. India made 370, SA 280+. Only Banladesh could muster 204 and 78. Bangladesh were ****, not the pitch.
WI are getting blown away with PAK bowling power. Nothing else.

the india 370 was on a flat surface that had more bounce n the ball was easier to come on to the bat, bd replied with 283 so cant really compare with the slow low wickets
however will say the SA 284 was an excellent performance, faf du plessis said himself that if u take ur time to get urself in, theres runs to be had...whereas the bangladeshi batsmen just swipe at the ball from ball 1

i would like to reiterate what mashrafee said. Enough of slow and low pitches. It might be helping our spinners just a little but its sort of painstaking watching a match at Mirpur at this T20 day and age.

once u factor in dew then ball will come onto the bat better n becomes easier to play through the line n score runs plus its a completely different scenario..demotivated west indian bowlers and pak batsmen not under pressure

If the batting was the other way, SAME would of happened!
There is a difference between a poor team and an excellent team and its NOT THE PITCH, dew or anything else! its talent!

how can u say that though? Im not saying this pitch is full of demons but its not a batting paradise. Theres a method Bangladesh and Windies should have employed and thats to assess the pace of the wicket, get settled, accumulate and then accelerate! They thrive on getting off to flyers but its not that type of wicket!

Oh please, the pitch is perfectly fine. In days where even a 300 is not a safe score, it's good to see grounds where 230-240 is a winning score, it's good to see batsmen struggling to score runs.
And to all those who want to see fast scoring games, tune into any other ODI game, 9/10 of them will be played on roads.

West Indies would be all out under 80 if Pakistan didn't drop 3 simple sitters in the space of 3-4 overs after W.Indies collapsed to 72/8. That pitch favors the bowling team no doubt. I think it was done like that after that India-BD game (which ppl complained was too batting friendly). It was credit to South Africa's excellent batting and some luck that they managed to score that much against BD in that pitch. I recall there were at least 3 chances when BD could get South Africa collapse to much lower score but somehow they fought and got lucky in some instances. Great teams like that just need 1 or 2 breaks to recover. BD didn't have it, England had trouble, W.Indies also had trouble and also Ireland had trouble in that pitch. But that's the challenge you have to face. It seems batting second in that pitch in a careful manner can get you to a decent score. I don't think we should fault the pitch though about the results themselves, out ream need to learn to play in any condition. But I will say that 58 and 78 score probably wouldn't be as low if playing in a more batting friendly wicket.

Its NOT the Pitch, Its NOT the Dew, Its NOT the Coach, its not the Physio. Its nothing other than our players who are not strong mentally to handle the pressure. PERIOD. Its our freaking players who can't do it yet. It will take time to get the temperament right. Sucks but as Bangladeshis we gotta wait for that lucky day. It might never come but worth a wait if its entertaining.

I couldnt bear watching this game, every time I saw Sarwan/Chanders/Gayle playing I thought this could have been Tamim/Shakib/Imrul. Oh the pain, and I am pretty sure we would have put out a much better fight

Pitch was fine. Two out of form Pakistan batsmen scored here with comfort on second innings. There was no dew factor at all.

there was slight dew coming in, could tell from the zip of the ball and how it came onto the bat although u could say it wasnt or no where near as heavy as was the case in chittagong

would you believe if say i just saw snow falling in Mirpur ???
its 35 degree centigrade here man ........
we would have loved if the night temperature was falling down and there was dew. we would have got some relief from the hot weather.
the only possibility of ground getting wet is players and crowd sweating too much

the pitch is fine... even if it is a low scoring game.. it is not as low as 78/112....
the pitch might have helped in the collapse... but the sole major reason for it is our won laggings...
no point blaming the pitch for this...
