the west indies team played against two south african domestic teams, winning one and losing the other

but in both games they scored 300+, either good batting or the pitches are great

Nope.

Pak all over SL.

SA almost scored 400. had Gibbs wasn't retired hurt I am sure they would have.

NZ only has two batsmen Guptil and Taylor. Other are just filling out the numbers. lost 6 wickets in 26 runs against Warriors and subsequently lost the warm-up match by two wickets.

we will always struggle like that and as I get older I have to learnt to expect it

I think last year New Zealand saw the most people playing all forms of cricket here (young kids, adults, woman, golden oldies) and it totalled 96,000 players overall.

We will always have a few good players and the rest will be substandard, Which is why we will never get anywhere. We don't have thr funding or the resources of the top tier either but the New Zealand slogan has always been to keep the big boys honest

The west Indies and ZImbabwe are the same

BDFlag WI Suffer Massive Defeat Against SA

http://www.cricinfo.com/iccct2009/en...ch/424424.html

This is the scorecard to the WI vs. SA match

It is a practice match for the Champions Trophy. The second string WI team lost horribly. They lost by 188 runs and SA scored 388.
I think their defeat raises questions to why the Bangladeshi batsmen struggled against their bowling attack. They struggled against the likes of Sammy and Roach. And the SA batsmen just took a crap on them.

Some of the fellow BC members said that the second string WI team's bowling attack was stronger than the original team. Like Roach and Darren Sammy.

So what do you think...? Even the "ferocius tiger" Tamim had troubles against their bowlers...

There is an ICC Champion's Trophy forum under International Cricket.

In fact there is a practice match thread. Please post appropriately. I will move this post.

Pakistan is just WOW.
WIndies w/t Gayle, Chanderpaul, Bravo, Taylor, Sarwan is nothing but a waste of space.
At lest BD would make it look competitive and troublesome for few top teams.

Don't U SUCKKK ICC!!
