PAK wanted IND, they go their wish.

Now can they (PAK) handle them (IND)? or they will melt like NZ game?

IND's batting is too much to handle for any defence.

*sigh*

Gotta feel for Aus. They just don't have those characters to win close games anymore or win the whole WC. They miss characters like Haydos. Symo, Gilly, McGrath, Warne. Lee and a broken Ponting alone is just not enough. It's sad that Ponting finally scored but Aus lost.

Did Ponting just play his last WC match? Will that be it? Will he finish it off here, on a sort of "high" note? Or will he be a hero and play until Aus are back to being a power-house? Retiring now will be a cowardy move in Ponting's point of view. And we all know Ponting doesn't back-away. He will play until Aus are in a better place. He will finish it of with a WC at home in 2015.

As for India, they should be glad that Sachin didn't score a 100.

Sachin WILL score his 100th century in the Semis, and that would bring an end to India's WC camp. Mark my words. Sachin fails to score a 100 = Ind are through to finals.

YES! The reign of Austrtalia is over, just like Brazil in the football WC. I'm gonna support SL from now. GO MURALI!!!!!!!

I like Pakistan cricket team, but their ppl blow, and a WC win will get all of em on their highhorses.

SL vs Pak will be the final IMO.

I believe yesterday was the day Raina took a first step to being a genuine all round batsman and not a flat track bully.

He was always good in T20's. however time and again he choked in pressure situations in ODI's and particularly against short balls by genuine pacers.

He handled Lee quite well and took singles at the right time.

That is a very ill-informed post and I suspect ill-intended as well. If you scan the recent history, you will find that Tendulkar has played an instrumental role in India winning tournaments (more than 2 teams) with centuries in finals and other crucial stages of the tournament.

People love to say these little things against Sachin for fun and end up looking stupid. So before you make those stupid claims, why dont you do some research and find out the facts?

Winning what tournaments? Sachin yet to have a WC under his belt. He's scored many runs, but on big occasions he's failed to show up. And the fact that you've managed to take my sort_of_a_joke comment so seriously, says a lot about your smartivity.

Also, yes, recently he's managed to be the "hero" more often, but he is still no Dravid, Laxman, or Ganguly. Those are more team players.

Shove it...

Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI Centuries against Pakistan:
Last time he scored century to beat Pakistan was way back in 1996 and since then there is nothing. 5 ODI Centuries against Pakistan but 4 times India lost. Only his 2nd century against Pakistan could see India winning it, except that his 4 ODI centuries went in vain as Pakistan clinched the victory in all 4 matches.

Oaky, my suspicion of ill-intended was true it seems.

Stop bringing WC into it. It's the fav point of all Sachin haters. Everyone knows his performances in world cups have been brilliant. If the rest of the team does not perform, it's not his fault.

The whole concept of "India loses when Sachin scores a century" is not just stupid, but downright idiotic. How can you blame his century for India's loss? Yet, 73% times (approximately) the guys scores a century India wins. That should be enough to negate it.

I sometimes wonder where this hatred comes from. A players comes in and scores runs consistently with centuries and half centuries, helps his team win 73% times, but whenever India loses a match despite his efforts, we see a crowd on internet forums blaming the loss on him. Where do you guys get the inspiration to do this? Why don't you get the inspiration to admire his knocks? What makes you look for the small holes to get back at him? What is the motivation behind putting the blame of the loss on the highest scorer of the match?

And don't tell me to shove it. Keep the temper under control. Don't get personal.

And here is a task for you: Find out the stats for Sachin's performances in tournament finals and come back to post it.

Let me get this straight. You don't want me to bring up World Cup (highest lvl of cricket tournament) into this, but you want me to find out his performances in tournament finals? Is it just me or that sounds really R-tarded?

Okay, since you've already tagged me as "Sachin hater", I will hate Sachin from now. Because I am getting sick and tired of his fans. Not everyone has to praise him. No, I shouldn't be hanged because he isn't my favorite player.

I think this comment from that link sums it all up.

Quote:
Be careful Neha. No matter how much you praise Sachin unless you call
him the greatest ever you will be labelled a Sachin hater. Simply
calling him one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the game is
not enough. He must be called the greatest ever.

It is not stupid, it is a FACT. And you can't blame Sachin for this. No one is blaming Sachin for this, at least I wasn't. But it is what it is. I did not bring that up to abuse Sachin's long list achievement, idk how I'd do that- because like I said it's not his fault. So why you're drawing to this conclusion? I was looking at the sky and guessing the weather. Now, you don't have to like my weather prediction, but don't diss it.

Stop calling everything you disagree with "stupid".

of course, but both scenes from yesterday's match.

I don't like ponting because of his cheating habit (even yesterday he claimed a bump catch) but you got to admit he is a champion batsman and a passionate cricketer. come the KO stage and he unveiled a 100 out of nowhere, all talk of off form forgotten.
