Our last ODI team
Tamim Iqbal ,
Anamul Haque ,
Mohammad Mithun ,
Mushfiqur Rahim*†,
Shakib Al Hasan ,
Mahmudullah ,
Nasir Hossain ,
Sohag Gazi,
Mashrafe Mortaza ,
Taskin Ahmed ,
Al-Amin Hossain

http://www.espncricinfo.com/banglade...ch/744683.html

So there is a chance of huge change in line up?
I did not like the idea of playing Sabbir at #3 before wining the series. Mr Hammer is a smart guy so I don't think he will do a sloppy work.

If Sabbir Rahman plays then the batting order should look like this -

1. Tamim Iqbal,
2. Anamul Haque,
3. Mominul Haque,
4. Mahmudullah
5 Shakib Al Hasan,
6 Mushfiqur Rahim (wk),
7. Sabbir Rahman,
8. Mashrafe Mortaza (capt),
9. Arafat Sunny,
10. Shafiul Islam,
11. Al-Amin Hossain

Agree we definitely need some bowling options if bowling under dew but on the other hand our top and middle order must perform and hope we don't have to rely on the tails to save us if hiccups happen.

Tamim
Imrul
Anamul
Mominul
Shakib
Mushy
Riyad
Mash
Arafat
Al Amin
Shafiul

dont want Sabbir, dont need sabbir. We have Mash who can bat. If batting has to do go down to no.7 against Zimbabwe, I doubt Sabbir will do anything. We dont need his bowling. Going with 3 seamers, 1 full spinner, 2 allrounders and if needed a part timer (Mominul). He doesnt deserve to make the XI ahead of anyone who might be left out for him. Not even Imrul or Jubair.

The Shabbir discussion reminds me of the Alok discussion before 2011 world cup when Alok was in decent but not great form. In the end we chose the safer choices in Ryad and Naeem and the rest is history. Funnily i think the same people that backed Alok are backing Shabbir now and the people that backed Ryad then are against the inclusion of Shabbir now. I have a feeling Shabbir will not feature in the WC squad and we will go with the safer choice

If Sabbir is in the squad instead of Nasir why not play him in 2 matches and see what he has to offer.

Its kind of like average cricketers. They keep chopping and changing since most jersey are rubbish. If anything is good then it would be the 2012 Asia Cup jersey

Zimbabwe have won the toss and have opted to field - Sabbir in. Hope the dew factor does not impact big tonight.
