I think Mominul should really try to be a #3 batsmen. He has the skills for it. He has batted there on a number of occasions in tests

well... at least we got some runs on board.. we can't get on backfoot all the time playing defensive.. homeboy put some runs and that is why we got 95/1 as opposed to 12/3 or sth.

If ash can continue to do well at #3 I'm fine with that but mominul should be there instead of riyad. Have mominul at #4 then shakib and mushy then nasir.

Stupid interview ... Sorry to see that he hasn't learnt over these years. "That's how we play" isn't good enough a logic to be happy about, while playing test cricket and getting out on 20s.

Tamim not returning? Selectors need to start looking for better options. Obviously Nafees wont learn. How many more chances should he get?

Give him a break guys. He's simply not good enough for Zimbabwe.

this guy is not international material. he has been given enough chances but he failed to improve and give up his tendency to get himself out. the selectors should rather give any available opportunities to shamsur rahman.

I thought we got rid of this guy for good, but he somehow creeped back into the team. And in addition he is one of the worst fielders.

Shahriar Nafees is an old breed of cricketer in the same category as the Mehrab Hossain's, Rajin Saleh's, Alok Kapali's, Nafis Iqbal's. These guys were all about talent but little application.
Normally cricketers get better with age, look at Dilshan, he peaked after 30. And despite his age his fielding got sharper. Shahriars game has gone down in all aspects-poor batting, poor fielding, and despite his seniority he never seems to contribute ideas/wisdom. We have given him enough of opportunities, time to dump him bring in someone better. Heck i dont even mind Imrul Kayes, as long as its someone who appreciates the opportunity to play for the national team, keep working hard and improving everyday.

Bhai... Rajin Saleh keno in the list? He is the opposite of Alok Kapali. I thought Rajin Saleh was a fighter with very limited skill set and at then end "lack of talent" that was the reason why he is not playing in the national team. On eth other hand Alok doesn't lacked the talenet, it's the dedication and application of the talenet where he failed.
So the next question is in which category SN falls? In Alok's category or in Rajin's category? I think he falls in both categories in some way and none in other ways.

He is just another sissy. During A team training in Khunla last year, coach asked him to do few laps. He not only refused but had a fight with that coach (don't remember who). Then them went to India, made another scene after he got out, and coach sent him back to BD. Then cut his finger while shaving a bat.....

Some SN bashing going on here! I hope he proves you all wrong and scores a hundred in the 2nd test if he is in the playing eleven.

With Tamim in, he may not get that chance.

SO his career avg is 26.xx and in last 3 yrs he has maintained the same avg. More specifically he has been only done bits and pieces since the pak series. So what does the selectors really expect from him. Someone else certainly deserve to be tested in his place.
