Cricket will miss him a lot.. What a bowler he was at his peak.. On his day shoaib totally unplayable.. If he dont had so many injuries and problem may be he would remembered one of greatest bowler of cricket history.. But still what he did enough to call him a legend...

Is he the only one retiring after this world cup? What's going on with Brett Lee?

This world cup will prrobably be the last world cup for many of crickets's best players from the 90's. Unfortunately the 00's simply did not produce enough players of the quality that the late 80's and 90's did;
Shoaib Akhtar, Younis Khan, Abdul Razzak
Ponting, Lee
Tendulkar
Chanderpaul, Gayle (?)
Muralitharan, Sangakkara (?)
Ourselves and South Africa on the other hand are relatively young and a lot of our best players will be the next world cup as well.

Shoaib a legend. I love him regardless of what some people think of him.
Waering the green pakistan shirt- Shoaib gave his 100% and we are honoured to have him representing Pakistan.
Shoiab, we love you and thank you for everything.
Shoaib is patriotic as they come- much better then our 3 traitors.
Shoaib, I salute you...the fastest bowler ever.

with this the era of genital disease riddled cricketers comes to an end, hopefully.
shoaib in full flow was a treat to watch, destructive bowler bar none in his prime.
