hope we lose the toss actually
want our batsman to be under pressure and then perform
then bowl out the irish when the conditions are better.

10:45 AM Unfortunately we have had another shower so everybody has run for cover but it is not expected to last too long. I have just had a word with the umpires and they say that when the rain stops it should take just about 60 minutes before we can get under way. They are very impressed by the way the outfield has taken the heavy rain overnight so they should not be a problem. And the rain is almost over.

11:34 AM Good news, if there is no more rain, play will start at 12.15pm local time and reducing the lunch interval to 30 minutes we will lose only one over so it will be a 49 overs match. The toss takes place at 11.45am
