Default Bangladesh to Participate Dileep Trophy?

In one of those Bangla Newspaper I saw that Bangladesh will participate in Dileep Trophy in India (one day tournament). I cannot relocate the link any more.

Basically it said that Bangladesh will Participate in Dileep Trophy in Feb time frame(??). Instead of team a, they will mainly send the national team players to gain some experience. Not sure if it will still be called “team-a” or “national team” though. Last year England A team participated the tournament.

Actually, BCB should sent the team for participation in Ranji Trophy (Test Version) instead of Dileep Trophy (ODI version).

Technical problems stay hidden in the slam-bang version where on an average, you play about 5-10 overs for about 30-40 runs.

Bangladesh should have started going to Ranji trophy 4 years ago. But, being late is not an excuse. I think this is a very good idea.

well if bd send a team their it should and will be the a-team. but some national player should also play. like nafis, aftab, rajin, ashraful, alok, nazmul, talha, rana, raj. naimur, hannan, tushar imran, shafik al-jubair should also get chance. naimur should be the captain and rajin should be his deputy.

That is an excellent idea. It would be awesome if our A-team participated in the Ranji trophy, nothig like it.

Duleep is a zonal team game. It is a good idea. There are already 5 zones playing in India. Bangladesh can be the sixth zone. May be 3 zones from Pak and 2 zones from SL should also join. That way we can have a subcontinental zonal games. May be in future Banglas should get 2 teams. But for now, Bangladesh should join as one zone. Expansion across subcontinent should be great thing for future.

Great idea as the national team has no games around this time so they need to gain experience else where.

Ranji Trophy (ind), Qaid-E-Azam Trophy(Pak)- i'm sure they won't say no becoz the ACC has been the most supportive of all the organzations for BD cricket.
