Wait, hold on. You left a big *** Cowboys stadium for a college field? Cmon! Well I guess that should save you some money.

^ I already updated it with the 2nd list. 16 total. So those are the available options. Sorry no Dallas. Anywhere else you feel like working this summer?

Hired. And yes, owner has to be local. Or else everyone will choose Mr Gates. And it makes more sense that way. I will assign you one.

Earthquake would make more sense. But no. Name has been chosen already. Also Larry Page? Dang it. I sponsored SF by the local trusted Visa. I wanted to go with Google at first but, Visa is more "homely" to SF.

Ya HIRED!

Pending Updates....

LA and NY were the hardest. I couldn't make up my mind between Lakers, Kings, Clippers, Angels, Dodgers, Rangers, Knicks, Yankees!

SF is the most randomest one. I went to San Jose to get that name.

I wanted a unique name for the team. MLS already has the San Jose Earthquakes. Tsunami also pays simultaneous homage to our ocean city's formidable Asian heritage

A great logo would've been a cricketer riding a Tsunami wave and hitting a six with the ball coming at us with the wave. Japanese traditional (Hokusai) motif would've been perfect.

Also, I'd love to see cricket played at the Stick in our uniquely unpredictable cold and windy conditions. Planning to pack the team with quality swing bowlers and spinners who can use drift.

My whole goal was to mix and match the existing teams, not event new ones. But you are quite the visionary. My head spun around reading that. Unless you can get Mr Google to get hire the best gfx designer, that won't happen.

And MLC did not and will not collaborate with MLS. The soccer guys are MLC's main nemesis.

Larry Page, the CEO of Google, is a San Francisco native BTW and worth $19 billion and counting in personal wealth. He can get Hokusai cloned and then get him to create the original artwork but that may take some time. I can do one myself and post it here if you want, but you gotta give me a few days as I'm slammed with my straight job at the moment.

Exactly half way through hiring process. 8 more to go. If you can get people to sign it, and get referrals, I'll do some tweaking with your bank balance

Btw those of you that already took over the job, would you like to start your jersey ceremony with your sponsors and owners or do it with everyone else. If you are here, let me know. I will stick around for a while.

Get Beamer to do Pittsburgh. Just remember he has just become a dad for the first time. maybe Nafi or Rubu can take Detroit because they live there AFAIK.

Although I tried my best to get the "kool" cities to participate in this, some teams are bit kooler than the others. And all the cooler teams are going away! Don't be the one to take the leftovers.

Denver
Detroit
Green Bay
New Orleans
Philadelphia
Pittsbuargh
Seattle
Washington

I was gonna get Beamer, but he isn't active. That could hurt the Pitts. I don't wanna steal your referrals, so you buzz them. I'll go after some other people.

How awesome would it be if I could get Ian Pont? He could be the first coach/manager of MLS!

Better put Gul, Malinga, Kulasekara, Tait, Broad, Anderson, Edwards, Cummins and Pattinson on the list of players to be auctioned.

MLC is in discussion with the recently retired players. ESP guys like Lee, Tait, even Bond. Their people are yet to respond back.

There is talk of Jerry selling the franchise to a group led by Sandra Bullock. As an Austin native and my ex-neighbor from the Great Hills area, she also has the backing of Michael Dell, another Austinite.

Confirm and finalize it and send a report to ESPN. Although I'm disappointed w/ Jer for not letting you guys use the big dome with 1000 inch TV. MLC was looking forward to going there. Now he is not even in the race!

I was able to get a screen shot from ESPN3. They showed a report on the group setup. Here it is.

Looks like pretty much every division's got 2 teams left w/o a manager.

"Ones" should be "Once", right? There's a typo in "Mariners" also.

I think you should do home and way within the division, and make all of the playoff games best of 5 with home field advantage. The WS of course would be best of 7. Penguins isn't a good name for a cricket team. Pirates or Steelers would've been better IMO.
