I usually find the books better than movies. I found it true for LOTR, Harry Potter, Da Vinci Code, etc.

Watched Twilight - pretty innocent Romeo (vampire) and Juliet story. Liked it. If you're into teenage romance, go for it.
Role Models. Pretty good time pass. Not going to change your outlook on life as much as long as your are used to '40 year old....', 'superbad', etc. Along the same line.

Went to my parents and they were watching Australia, I managed about 45-50 minutes, didn't really get into it and have no interest in finishing it.
I should be receiving Brick lane and Quantum of Solace tomorrow. Will see how they are.

Nasif, waiting on Transformers and X-men. Will wait for Star Trek to hit dvd.

The recent movies I saw:
Taken: great movie. the action scenes were awesome. btw, the main characters wife in real life has died recently. I recommend this movie.
Pink Panther 2: was not that great of a movie. Not worth the movie ticket.
He is just not that into you: a chick flick, so take your lady friend with you. its ok but I would not watch it again.

I watch loads of movies in theater, during the last 3 years,I watched over 80 movies in theaters (yes, I have a list) lol. The only one I hated was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This Friday I am going to see Watchmen. and if possible, either The Haunting in Connecticut or Monster Vs Aliens.

Watched Twilight last weekend also. I found it quite bit long and the story seemed to just dragged on. It is pure teen genre. Romantic aspect was not as good as it could have been. Overall just alright category.

I have extremely high expectation from Star Trek (I know I just might get disappointed). I am thinking about watching it on IMAX.

I saw Gus Van Sant's "Milk" a couple of days ago.

Sean Penn = a superhuman actor. He NEVER ceases to amaze me.

Watch the movie!

bhais and apas,
check this movie out....'the skelton key'...it's a pretty good story horror flick with kate hudson -goldie hawn's daughter in real life! it took place in my old stomping ground tulane area - new orleans - nawlins! the story line is pretty good here, which is ususally the problem with many crappy horror movies! it talks about hoodoo/santoria black majik not the voodoo religion! it creeped me out pretty good, thank Allah my wife is braveer than me and she and our cats usually protect me! please check it out on vdo/dvd, been out for a couple years i think! and from now on i will post all bk's good horror flicks/ cuts here!
have a gud eveening...hooohoohahahah!

Watched twilight.. agree it was a teenage film, but i think it was necessary to read the book before watching the film. Amazingly cute book!

Just spent last 3 hours watching "The curious case of Benjamin Button".
Simply amazing, superb film.
Worth every second of it.

I had no prior knowledge about the movie, nor did i read any reviews. Only knew it is supposed to be a good film.

Boy, was it good, or was it good???
