Spiderman Homecoming: easily the best spiderman movie. Great acting all around, good blend of comedy and action. It retained the teen movie vibe while also being a superhero movie. Also had a very compelling villain in Michael Keaton. Recommended.

^^I've seen the trailers. It has a good vibe to it. One of our beloved boats of the Staten Island Ferry was the highlight of the trailer. Can't wait to see it.

It was a great film. I just kinda wished they didn't make spiderman that young. Heck he wasn't even that young in most of the comics.

The best part was they completely skipped the origin story. No radioactive spider biting or uncle getting killed scene.

we know we can always count on you to watch the latest film before even its release as if you work in a film studio but could you please stop telling us what the story is. More reasons why you shoudn't be a mod.

Can anybody recommend any good Bengali film that isn't the typical hero/heroine/family drama stuff. Haven't watched a BD film in over a decade, mostly because I find it the themes and stories so boring. But maybe you guys can change my mind.

Will also take Bollywood recommendations. Something that's different from the usual love story/dance number crap. Thanks.

If you can manage Kamal Hasan's (1987) "Pushpak." A little on the slow side but to me it was amazing. I don't think there was a dialog in the entire movie let alone dance/songs.

They dubbed Atomic Blonde as a female version of James Bond... But looks like she's badder than the baddest James Bond (Sean Connery)

Just watched a bunch of DC Animated originals. It's surprising how so many people don't know about these gems, they're so well done. Best part is it's targeted towards a more adult audience

It's Western animation, besides it would be too weird seeing Batman in Japanese style animation lol.

Haven't seen Blame! I tried reading the manga awhile ago but I couldn't handle the art nor understand wtf was going on in the story.

Have you seen Castlevania?

Just started to watch on netfix.

There is an anime version of wolverine and x men. I like the art but the story is bland

No idea man, is it a Bollywood movie or a Bengali one?

BTW while you are at it I recommend Anurag Kashyap's other movies as well, this guy is literally India's Tarentino and I ain't exaggerating one bit, you should watch his Black Friday, Gulaal and Gangs of Wasseypur of course.

Currently binge-watching Gangs of Wasseypur on Netflix.

Have to say that the acting is superb. Not your typical Indian show or movie.

Kudos to the guy responsible for the music. It's very interesting and well suited. I noticed some chutney music out of the Caribbean being infused into the show.

Will give a more detailed review when I finish watching the 8 episodes.
