Aren't we counting the really positive ones? I don't see why Kayes 21 or Mushfiqur 22 should be counted as "performance" or Ash's 9 for that matter and it'd be tedious to keep track of everyone. I say narrow it down to core few and highlight any conspicious one for players consisting of Opu bunch.

Btw, I do like the idea of the thread and can very well be sticky material like Raynman. It's just that too many players to deal with...

Nice thread, paniwala.

Only deshi player that attracted my attention so far is Enamul Jr.

Among internationals, it is Gayle for being a havoc.

Disappontement: Mash because of his lack of speed in bowling, Contentment: Ashrarul, not by his perfomance but by his DG charisma.

Sakib: no comment but a comment because of his so many long singles that he could have converted them to 4s by his sheer experience, vision and talent.

Unexpected: Mahmudullah.

Nazmul Opu - I was harsh on him after the Sylhet game, but he justified his inclusion against Rajshahi ahead of the likes of Sohag Gazi/Al-Amin/Alauddin Babu/Rabbi.

Mizanur - Gutsy performance. Forced the issue of playing a T20 game despite the format not being in his comfort zone. Definitely one to keep an eye on for the longer version of the game.

Saghir Pavel - impressed with his keeping skills. Could arguably be the best in the country with the gloves.

Sabbir Rumman - commendable job with the bat against Chittagong, coming such low down the order. I realise it was a losing cause with the game going nowhere.

Eng - Jos Butler was there, left for England. Darren Stevens still there.

There may be more that don't immediately come to mind.

Naeem Islam was unlucky to bowl only one over (which was the first over of the innings). He was looking good (0/5 off 1 over)

Sabbir Rumman should get the chance to bat up the order for Rajshahi.

5 foreign player is too much. its not gonna help to build our local player

all teams are playing all 5 foreigner in top 5 batting position and all 5 bowlers are bowling most quota.

It's for all the BPL (local, international) players vhai. Local players are for our national T20 squad and BPL 2013.... and international players are for the next BPL.
I hope BCB would take the initiative to create a separate T20 national squad (similar to England) and start nurturing them properly. BPL is the excellent place to find these youngsters.

Jey choyjon kheltese, tader modhye e performer pawa jache na....foreign player komale even the galleries will be more empty, matches will get crappier..... BPL will give a nose dive....we can't reduce foreign players until we have enough people who can perform....

Still early to say but none of the unknown local players have yet made their mark

foreigners are dominating this league which is not a surprise
