How Early may that be, I opened mine 2 days 5 hours ahead and didn't see this one. can you please set a benchmark for this? Nonetheless, Well done Nadim

I think it's what members think is right. I'm sure we can develop a consensus. 5 days might be the limit - for em personally. I personally do not like to see more than one MT open at the same time unless there are back to back matches and the other match HAS ENDED. These are my own views - yours might be different. What irritates me most are those empty place holder threads which people start just to be first. I would like to put a stop to that - I don't give rats behind if there are pictures or not, but do like to see relevant links such as coverage, commentary, possible video links etc.

By the way, this venue doesn't get much crowd, in a sense i hate this ground. Plus it's more pace friendly. who know what will happen. Still hopeful as ever.

The criteria should be
-Can be opened max 3 days prior to the match, where applicable.
-New MT ONLY after the end of the current or impending match
-NO booking allowed.
-Certain features to be ensured for international matches, eg, info, link, etc.

Zunaid, Rifat posted a match thread for the first match. His was opened a little after Nadim had published this one. One of the mods proposed to change this one to be the match thread for the 2nd match. Rifat agreed to the idea. He wasn't trying to be a possessive peter about opening a match thread.

Opening a match thread is something BC members hold dear to their heart. It's an honor, and an opportunity to be close to the team (I certainly felt like this when I was a BC regular). Perhaps to some that's silly. Regardless, I'd hate to be chided over something I care for.

Herath won't be playing but Malinga will definitely play. nodi theke somudre jhap dibe... No wonder if we see malinga uproots 2-3 wickets within the firs 10 over

Zia should play instead of riad.... Razzak should play instead of robiul.... If zia play we will have 3rd seemer in the team.... Also abul can bat... It will be fantastic combinTion.. Im kinda confuse with anam vs johi? But i think johi will be the better choice... Atleast he played well in test... Where anam failed totally in a batting pitch... To me this time tigers will fight.... Tighers will bring the victory for us.... Joi bangla.

Why Riyad should be drop from odi? Don't get confused with test and odi. Riyad has done enough in Last couple of yrs in odi to keep going. So don't see Zia replacing him. Why should he? What has Zia done? And his bowling? Have u seen him bowling recently? Ok don't just bring his 4 overs vs WI in the t20. And if u go further to dig his stats from cricinfo then no point because all his FC wk were before 2010...He is no more a bowler. Lost everything due to injury and mental illnesses that he suffered for couple of yrs.
