terrific batsman and all round cricketer. really good in the field and an underrated bowler who imo if he didn't have the burden of his batting and didn't have to contend with such great bowlers would have been known much better as a bowler, even still he was a reliable and solid bowler for his team as well as being one of the best bats of his generation and oh my that cover drive!

I can't say generation because I got Imran, Hadlee, Kapil, Botham and Akram in my school days

kallis and cairns the best of the late 90s and 00s, pollock wasn't bad either.
