Default Bangladesh U-19 : Through the WCs

U-19 World Cup is held every two years. Throughout the years, we have uncovered many talents coming up from the ranks --

In my opinion, 2006 was the most successful batch with Shakib, Tamim, Mushfique. After that 2014 has been the most promising one.

Who will step up from 2016?

From 2006 the story for BD in U19 WCs has been nothing short of tragedy

Good work Mufi_02...I liked the 2010 and the 2012 teams.

Without doubt 2006 is successful...I liked this year's squad, they looked like they are up for it.

2012 team looks good

Good enough to beat national team. 2006 too has some big guns there

Mossadek Hossain and Asikur Rahman also played twice, apart from Asikur Rahman everybody else played for BD at least once

I think 2012 team had the most potential after 2006, had the best result(7th) after 2006(5th) also

I expect some of these guys to step up and perform really well under pressure & against good opponents. They are still promising talents but no performance to yet say for sure who's going to be a future for Bangladesh. As a team so far they have played really well. Hope they meet our expectations in the knock out stage.

Mufi, good work. Great thread.

Its a great thread! But stated by Jadukor, the table will disappoint any Tigers fan, considering how many of our talent have gone astray over the years.

The 2004 side was the tournament favorite, particularly since that edition was also played in Bangladesh. Also Bangladesh had an excellent bowling attack. Nazmul opened with someone else, and Shahadat came in first change and used to terrorize batsmen with hostile bowling. And then would come in Enamul Jnr who was also leading wicket taker that edition.
