This must have had something to do with our win today. Of course, we didn't play in hara-re.

A reminder for myself first and to all muslim brothers and sisters about the special night "Lailatul Qadr" which takes place in one of the last 10 days of Ramadan! We don't know the exact date ( yes, even the 27th night may or may not be it!) So, let us worship all 10 nights and that way we'll bound to meet the Lailatul Qadr night inshAllah!
Good luck everyone
------
Surat Al- Qadr (Surah No. 97)
1. Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
2. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
3. The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
4. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
5. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.

It's difficult but many have done it and its expected from world class batsmen/openers. It was about 35/36 overs though.

I know that Tamim is an opening batsman...but he played 102 matches already! I would've expected atleast 1/102 matches for him to play till the end and not losing his wicket. I think that's a reasonable expectation
But no worries, he's only 22 yrs old and it'll happen eventually inshAllah

So, number 3 position seems open. Anyone outside these bunch to cement his place there?

Why not no 2 aswell? This 3 are same type batsman and all are edgy.To me if we can manage one right handed opener with Tamin we can choose one from SN,JS and Imrul for #3.

I think Nasir is batting too low, he could be tried at no. 3, or Mr. Sissy riyad should take some responsibility for a change and bat at no. 3 leaving his current position to Nasir.

excellent point Habib vai..#3 is a concern for us and we badly need to fix this. I would go with Riyad/Mushy. Both are solid batsman and need time to settle. A thing to remember both SN and Zunaid are openers not a #3 player

This is indeed a great win, congrats. but i got to say zim missed vitori badly. now i wonder whether it is the psycological effect of vittori that got onto us or he is really that extra-ordinary.

I would say our preparation for this series was really poor, the first three games in the venue we played ball was bouncing and moving on the pitch, it was actually stratigically well set up by Zimbabwe, cause they had practice against South African A team on such kind of surface before this series as their preparation. So, they had good practice and got used to it and they used best out of it, got the fruitful result.
Now when you come to today's match venue the pitch was what our boys are used of, slow, low bounce pitch, even you must have heard some commies were saying at this kind of track Bangladeshis are very used of. And we got our result.
Vitory, he is good but not Mcgrath or Stein, it is our players who made him look extra ordinary but definitely he is not ordinary. If he would have played toady he wouldn't have the assistance from the pitch the way he got from Harare, I mean the both way movements, even in the third match he wasn't that threat as the previous two. SO, he wouldn't have much impact at today's match. That what I believe !!
