What a fantastic game, I was getting Asia Cup 2012 deja-vu in the final few overs

Anyways LOLOLOL@ Sami That was some legendary choking there, he would be begging for an asylum now. Has the Pakistan media started yelling match-fixing allegations yet??

We played with 10 players today. Mithun's contribution was zero.

There is a reason why despite the pace, the skills ,the talent Sami has never made it to be a permanent player.
And there is a reason why Amir was brought back despite so many objecting.
And no mattet how good Pak bowlers they will always give away wides or no balls which our bowlers don't ,

agree with shumonda... i dont think we should necessarily be so quick to use the spot fixing word. the pressure can be enormous and it's not as if he bowled more than a couple of no balls.. the hell.. stop being buzz kill :p

Ramiz was so pissed off and he deliberately ignored the interview with Soumya. He should lose his job for not doing it properly. Such a moron.

I was shocked seeing Afridi for passing the buck on the youngsters! Afridi is the captain and he should take the responsibility as he failed to deliver as a batter and his captaincy was poor, be it bowling choice/change, fielding setting - you name it!

We all know his batting crap to say the least. He is more or less a bowler in the team than anything else.

Those laughing at Sami’a last over ,should see Shahadat’s last over against same opponent in asia cup final 2012.

From asia cup final 2012. Pak was 9 wicket down and still managed to make 19 from Shahadats last over. Thanks to those 2 NBs. Today BD was only 5 wicket down when Sami concedes 15 runs. IMO Shahadat is the greatest baller of all time - no one ever will overcome heroic efforts.
49.6
2 Shahadat Hossain to Aizaz Cheema, 2 runs, two more, manages to carve that, though he mistimed it, over extra cover for a couple more runs
49.5
4 Shahadat Hossain to Aizaz Cheema, FOUR, Pakistan are doing well here, short outside off and Cheema makes room to thrash it through extra cover,
49.4
1 Shahadat Hossain to Sarfraz Ahmed, 1 run, mistimes that as he tries to clear mid-off, gets a single, Cheema wants the second and is halfway down the pitch, it's a poor throw from Mashrafe to the keeper and he is able to get back
49.3
2 Shahadat Hossain to Sarfraz Ahmed, 2 runs, Is he run-out off a free-hit? Slower one bowled short and that was pulled over short fine, Shakib collected in the deep, returned a throw to the keeper who threw it to the bowler, Shahadat collected and it seemed he missed it on the first attempt while trying to take down the bails but did so the second, by that time Sarfraz had made it back, two more runs
49.3
3nb Shahadat Hossain to Sarfraz Ahmed, (no ball) 2 runs, another no-ball, he's overstepped this time, a freehit coming, swings it over midwicket for a couple more
49.3
5nb Shahadat Hossain to Sarfraz Ahmed, (no ball) FOUR, Useful runs these, a no-ball called for height and it's a gift delivery, sliced it away over point for a boundary, five runs
49.2
0 Shahadat Hossain to Sarfraz Ahmed, no run, missed out there, the slower one bowled full, wanted to cart that over extra cover, couldn't connect
49.1
2 Shahadat Hossain to Sarfraz Ahmed, 2 runs, slower one bowled full outside off, drives it wide of long-off and he wants the second, Cheema responds well and makes it back

Dude, this was all about the 2 run loss to Pakistan in the last Asia Cup finals. We bangla-washed them just a few months ago, so it wasn't just about beating them. Riyadh himself said that the Asia Cup final was in his mind. And in a much lower scale, Mash's decision to promote himself was Dhoni-esque.

Here. While fully acknowledging he is our best captain, with nothing but the highest regard for his courage and patriotism, and even agreeing that he IS contributing something as a bowler and hit-n-miss #8, I think his, yet-to-be-confirmed decision to retire at the end of the T20 WC is the right one. Everytime he steps on a field to play, he's jeopardizing his ability to WALK. We need him till Champions Trophy in ODIs. And T20 is where you groom a future captain - like Riyadh. Asserting an opinion like mine does NOT make me a hater. You disagree, fine. Let's do so respectfully.
