Let's get radical 3: Minimum Fitness Requirement (MFR) to tryout for national team
Minimum Fitness Requirements:
Run a 5K
Run a 10K
Run a mile in less than 4 minutes
Complete a Tough Mudder
Complete a Spartan Race
Complete a GORUCK Challenge
Learn Parkour
Do 10 trampoline backflips with no rest bounces
Learn standing backflips
Learn wall flips
Cycle 100 miles in a day
Participate in a cycling race
Climb a 30-foot rope using hands only
Walk 40 feet on a slackline
Achieve a powerlifting total (squat/bench/deadlift) of 1,000 lbs.
Bench 250
Bench 300
Squat 250
Deadlift 300
Deadlift 350
Military Press 200
Do a triathalon
Do an Olympic Distance triathlon
Do 100 push-ups in a single set
Do 15 pull-ups in a single set
Do 20 pull-ups in a single set
Do 15 chin-ups in a single set
Do 20 chin-ups in a single set
Do a muscle-up
Additionally,
8 degree martial belt in at least TWO of the following: wing chuan, kravmaga, FMA, BJ, karate, shaolin kungfu, boxing, pa kua
Be able to canoe.
Be able to rock climb.
Hold breath underwater for 5 minutes.
Climb wall barehand.
Headstand
Able to skip continuously for 8 hours straight.
Able to skip continuously non stop.
Be able to play chess in head while sprinting 100 meters.
Good javelin arm.
Outstanding volleyball player.

^^ We use beep test. It's a good way to keep unfit guys like Tushar Imran and Abdur Razzak out of the national team

Neil Broom apparently has some Japanese martial art experience. And of course then we have freaks of nature like AB who is a superathlete.

What about soft skills such as being able to speak fluent Bangla and somewhat correct English with sporting terms, man management, team building etc.

I am not playing. After our Special Forces training, we did considerably well in our subsequent matches. I just don't know which ones, against whom or when or where.

It was a fad at that time. I think England was first to go on such training, then everyone started doing it. But quite a few players got injured or picked up niggles, and then everyone stopped.

Fad or not bro, I will take a superfit 200% fitness freak over any trained player in his technique and aggression any other day.
