Default Were you happy with the last pitch?

As the title suggests, how do u feel about the pitch of the last match. It looked like an underprepared wicket to me and I personally believe that one day internationals shouldn't be held on such wickets.

Furthermore, we aren't playing against a high ranked odi team like Ind, Aus or Eng. In this series we r going to play against two of the weakest teams in world cricket.

What were we trying to achieve in the last match by playing on that dustbowl against a team like Zimbabwe? I can understand if our management wants to play on a favourable wicket against tougher teams like Aus or Eng. Does that mean we will also dish out an undeeprepared wicket to a team like Zimbabwe who aren't better than a club level team?

Yes. Very happy. I have this cut throat mentality. Never give a snake a second chance. Cut the head off. Off the field be as nice as you can be. Give bear hugs like Mash.

Don't give them any confidence on the field. "KILL THEM ALL AND COME BACK ALONE." (That's a western movie)

Welcome to BC Sunshine.

Not to lose any ranking points. We lost 4 RANKING points losing one game against Afghans at home even though we won the series. Not taking any chances this time around I guess.

The wicket wasn't under prepared. Mirpur averages below 260. That is the nature of the wicket. Slow and difficult if you aren't patient enough. It is extremely difficult for any team to come to a foreign condition and adjust in 2 days without any match practice. Pak, Ind, SA, Eng, Aus found that out.

What dust bowl?!

Zim is playing on a very similar wicket today, and the ball is coming nicely to bat. There was no extravagant turn for our spinners in the last match either.

Because so few nations play cricket, I don't mind what teams we play. As long as it's not the same side over and over again. But yes, it also means I have higher expectations. But Bd delivered on those expectations in the first match, so I can't say anything.

As for the pitch, the game of cricket and its fans are so annoying with attributing everything on the pitch. Did not bat well, because of the pitch. Did not bowl well, because of the pitch. F the pitch, I say. It is no excuse.

So I don't care what pitch we made, all I care about are performances.
