Reimer back to sucking again. Rebound after rebound. And the defense is a disgrace. Mother****ing Dion Phaneuf is abysmal.

Kessel's the fastest, most skilled guy out there. He needs to be the hero against his former team.

Two of the most retarded trades ever:

1. Rask from Leafs to Boston.

2. Kessel from Boston to Leafs.

^ Kessel didn't wanna sign for what Boston was offering, and wanted to be traded. Leafs game them the best offer.

The Rask trade was just ****ed up.

Is Riyad playing defense with his 3 clones for both teams tonight?

A lot of puck watching going on out there. Hockey seems to be a non-contact sport all of a sudden

It's over as the Leafs watch the Bruins score the winner. What a comeback by Boston!

I. EAST

- Pens-Isles. I'd go with the Pens in 6 and that's only because the assumption that Crosby, as fierce a competitor as he is, and Malkin won't be 100 in this series. But I see others stepping up, Fleury coming up huge and the Pens superior speed, overall application and puck handling prevailing in the end. Pens also have the X-factor going for them being a recent Cup Champion.

- Habs-Sens. Pretty much a toss up with the Habs prevailing in 7.

- Caps-Rangers. Rangers in 7 with Lundquivst and the D in front of him doing it for New York. Ovechkin's goals and Holtby's goaltending would keep things close but that won't be enough in the end.

- Bruins-Leafs. Bruins in 6. Bruins have superior goaltending and a suffocating style that compliments their underrated but highly effective dump-and-chase game. They also have the X-factor going for them being a recent Cup Champion.

II. WEST

- Hawks-Wild. Hawks in 5. Simply too strong. I think Minny would simply fall apart in the series because Chicago has what it takes to untie their tight defensive game. They also have the X-factor going for them being a recent Cup Champion.

- Ducks-Wings. A toss up with the Wings prevailing in 7. We play well against the Ducks and are coming into the playoffs with great momentum and a solid defense in front of an in-the-zone Howard. Howard will steal at least one in Southern Cal. We also have Pasha, Hank, Franzen and our third and fourth lines in form, AND the X-factor going for us being a recent Cup Champion.

- Canucks-Sharks. Sharks in 5. Niemi and Thorton will crush Vancouver as the Sedin Sisters are forced to book early tickets to Stockholm.

- Blues-Kings. Kings in 7. Kings have the X-factor going for them being the current Cup holders. Doughty, Kopitar, Brown, Richards, Carter and company will turn it up a notch with Quick ensuring series victory.

Let the games begin.
Different reasons but the same outcome. 7 out of 8 thank you

Leafs- Bruins was one of the best series in recent memory.

Rangers in a laugher. That South East div is a fraud. Ovi padded his stats playing teams in that division. His stats against other teams outside of South East was pedestrian. That's why he is not MVP. It is Tavares for me this year. Crosby missed a month and Pens were still no.1 . I love it if Sid wins, but being objective here. Without JT, Isles don't make it to playoffs and they made it from a tough Atlantic.

The Leafs need to get a more tactically sound coach who emphasizes a better organized defensive system and overall speed in front of a better goalie, and a GM who can get the right combination of players for you guys. Once you do that, you can build upon the positives you have right now and at least make the playoffs every year. Kessel, Lupul and Kadri are excellent players to build a potent offense around.

Looking forward to playing you guys next season

My pick for Conference Semis:

I. East

1. Pens in 7 against the Sens. Not a toss up but a tough series nonetheless.
2. Bruins in 7 against the Rangers. Toss up.

II. West

1. Wings in 7 IF Howard can elevate his game to Tim Thomas/Jonathan Quick levels. Hank, Pasha, Abdel Kader and Kronwall will continue to perform and lead by example, that's for certain. That's my desperate hope as a Wingnut. But in all probability? Hawks in 5 or 6. We match-up well against Toews, Kane, Saad and Seabrook but not against other guys like Hossa, Sharp, Frolik and Keith. The absence of DeKeyser and Helm is an insurmountable handicap highly improbable to overcome under these circumstances.

2. Sharks in 7. Very much a tossup.

Its tough to call a series from here on out. But, there will be more Game 6 and 7's this year judging by the parity that persists throughout the league. I am still feeling the awe of the last nights Leafs=Bruins game. You don't see too many games like that. An Instant Classic as they say. Conf Semis underway tonight. Sens are a very confident bunch and they are coached by excellent Maclean. They have big defensemen to go with two great offensive defenseman in Karlsson and Gonch. All four lines can score. They have the best PK in league and possibly one of the best goaltender. Its anything but an easy series. We were lucky to win. If we continue to play the way we did against Isles, we will lose vs Sens. Turnovers killed us. We have to play a more structured game against them. If we do that we will be fine, because we will score goals, no matter what Anderson does. Lets Go Pens !!

Ovi post game : The series was rigged. Game 6 was rigged. They wanted a game 7. They wanted big market team moving on. We got no penalties, they got five....

That's a captain?

Not to mention, as great as he is, he plays borderline dirty the way he leaves his skates every time to hit. Most of the time, its not called. I forgot the Ranger player he hit yesterday. It was suspension worthy. Anyway, 2 pts in a series is non-superstar..

The Sens are a every good team. Excellent goalie, two of the best offensive Ds in the league and a great veteran leader with solid two way ability in Alfredsson. Sadly, that may not be enough to beat the Pens with Malkin and company in full flow. Pittsburgh was simply a cut above with the type of dominant execution that makes winning look easy and spells "Cup Winner". If they manage to sustain the form displayed tonight, nobody and I mean NOBODY other than the Hawks can prevent Crosby from lifting his second Cup. Vokoun's calm and collected presence with Orpik in front of him has made a HUGE difference for the team as a whole. Their special teams were great to watch and the box score indicates as much. I don't know where the Sens can go from here. I don't see them coming back strong in the next game. Maybe they'll do better in Ottawa and that's a very weak "maybe" indeed. Good chance that they may get swept if the Pens continue to play like the way they did tonight.

LA is leading the Sharks 2-0 with less than 15 left in the 3rd, and look solid in front of Quick. Voynov is a legitimate star in the making and Brown has really stepped up this post season as expected. The combination of their fast-and-aggressive defense, forechecking and backchecking is going totally unanswered by the Sharks. Those are the things that made things happen for the Cup holders last championship season and once again they can be considered the dark horse to repeat this truncated season. They're capable of disrupting whatever game plan the opposition, almost any opposition is trying to execute. That said, the Sharks are more capable of coming back in the series than the Sens are IMO. We shall see.
