Looks like neither UAE not AFG have any bowlers in their teams - AFH 309/UAE 35 in 3 overs!

Our target should be 300 against AFG

Some really weird $hit is going on in these practice matches. Afg fast bowlers bowled very good line and length against Ind at the beginning of the innings when they pegged them back at 16/2 in 5 overs. Even Rohit had a few inside edges and near misses who went on to score 150. Once the batsmen got settled they lost the plot. But here they're being taken to the cleaners from the get go by UAE

nothing weird is going on. Initially when the pitch is juicy it favors the seam bowlers. once batsmen get settled, its an even contest. Spinners who will likely find success in this world cup are the ones who are very intelligent with their bowling: Senanayake comes to mind, of course our very own Shakib also comes to mind but i should not say it....haha

This is probably the most exciting world cup ever in terms of skill, excitement and the level of unpredictability is very very high. Even people like McCullum and De villars are saying anybody can really win it. They are either being super humble since both NZ and SA are on the best of forms or they are simply acknowledging how much of a challenge lies ahead for any team not necessarily just Bangladesh. In the World cup opening ceremony de villars or McCullum mentioned how a single bowler or batsmen can single handedly turn the match. The pitches in Australia are very good for batting also very good for bowling(not necessarily just pace). Depends on which team or which player shows up to perform.

^That's exactly what's weird and at the same time so exciting about this world cup. When the pitch is lively at the start, the ideal approach should be to play sensibly without going after the bowling for 5-10 overs until the ball loses some of the shine. Yet what we're seeing is powerhouses like SA, NZ, Ind, SL are paying dearly for attacking the new ball while seemingly weak teams like Scotland and UAE are reaping dividends

Dang! This Afghanistan team is really really goooddddd!!! Really solid, in terms of executing the fundamentals and also in terms of applying their techniques. Otherwise, they wouldn't have scored 300 plus. Can we exchange players between the BD and the Afghan teams before the 17th? I like them! Like them A LOT!

Apart from the Bangladesh match off course, I wish them all the best in this world cup. especially given the **** their country and people has been through in the last few decades or so...It is also a remarkable story of their rapid rise to the world cup from a point where cricket did not even exist in Afghanistan.

After following Afg vs UAE warmup, it appears to me that only weak team is Bangladesh in this WC. We are the only team who could not score runs, and failed in every department. What a shame. Another humaliting World Cup for us. I would not be surprised if we become 14th out of 14 teams.

when the real games starts, every warm up every other crap goes out the window. when the emotion takes over, when something is at stake, everything else in the past goes out the window and that's when sht gets real.

Dude, the crux of the matter is Afghans have finished their preparation in a winning note which we could not. Now, the reality is knocking at our door and we seriously need to look at the mirror and pull up the socks as early as possible.

Both team has had a good practice and they both look well set in the conditions...both scoring around 300 mark speaks a lot. Can we post over 300 or chase against Afghanistan? Will get the answer soon.

We should be able to score 300+ runs if our batsmen use their brain together and act like a real tiger.
AFG bowling is very ordinary, nothing to afraid of. India scored 300+ runs, and team like UAE was also close to that.
