I think 2 changes will be there from the practice match squad

# Tamim in place of Jahirul

# SRK / Robiul might get chance (not sure who will get drop Abul / Rubel )

I too think that... these two have underperformed including nasir, but nasir is a regular one like tamim... so jahurul and abul are the potential changes

Will we see another Eid inning (Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha)?

Most likely we'll now see both Ash and Mominul in the XI. I think on the batting side, we'll end up seeing Jahurul missing out if Tamim is fit. On the bowling side, we'll most likely see what we saw in the practice match. Whoever gets in, best of the luck to them.

I am actually referring to that particular one WU innings for three of them.

I think you are a batsman short. Yeah. No point in playing so many bowlers. They won't do their job, might as well pack it up with more batsman.

Mohammad Ashraful will see a doctor in Galle for an eye allergy that has recurred several times in the last eight years, ahead of what is now certain to be his first Test match in more than a year. The problem hasn't affected his batting so far, but Ashraful wanted it checked as a precautionary measure, rather than ride on luck as he has done during the home season.
Another tentative injury? some spells from the ash haters must have got him

I would agree if there was Shakib but without him Nadim's team's balance looks right to me. You need at least four specialist bowlers in test cricket. We need 20 wkts to win or worst case get them out in the first innings. We cant expect Gazi to do everything with the ball. Nasir at no. 7 is still a deep batting lineup.

I would make only one change in this lineup. Let both ASH/Monimul play and bench Jahirul. Atleast that way you get 2 extra bowling options.

Feeling pity for jahirul, In WU match opened the innings in tough condition with the new ball and under overcast(it was raining other day). must have faced good deliveries with new balls seaming around and scored decent runs, then comes mominul when the ball was getting older in a relatively better situation and scored surplus of jahirul. and is well deserved to get the chance in main IX over jahirul.

The thing is should we be more concerned with scoring runs or the person who can sustain in difficult conditions. Can mominul negotiate the new balls and score that fluently if the top order falls out quickly. I guess these things should also come in consideration while choosing the team, i mean the techniques all-together .

Well this is just a hypothesis as it looks like from a distant, it can be other way round with jahirul getting out in rash shot and mominul surviving better balls with due respect to both of them.
