NL: Rule for Five bowlers!!

Mashrafi, Taposh, Talha, Nazmul and Rajib would not be allowed to bowl more than 30 overs per week in NL. This rule applied by the BCB to keep then fit and injury free for the next England tour.

The adorable teenager, dubbed as the fastest bowler in Bangladesh to date, in his first international exposure, made quite a repercussion with his raw fire power in the under 19 World Cup, 2004 as he routinely produced explosive deliveries in excess of 145 kmph in his salvos. As a geniune fast bowler mingled with a tall & strong frame, seemingly natural aggression and a smooth run up, he builds up nerve wracking sent-downs aimed at the batsmen's throat with religious regularity.

His control with the new ball is not complete yet however. Over the last few months he showed tremendous improvements in controlling the new cherry and cut downs the noballs. With meticulous care and patience from both BCB and fans, it will not be long for the world to witness the unearth of the latest hero but of Bangladeshi origin.

"Take it from me he is a genuine fast bowler... He will be a real asset for Bangladesh if we handle him carefully" said a buoyed and excited McInnes.

I had no idea he was this good. Excellent, another very good fast bowling prospect. Sure would like to some video clips of him bowling if anyone has them.

I guess physical stress is much higher for pacers than that of spinners. Thats why BCB listed only pacers. It is also true that pacers tend to fall victim of injury more than anyone else.

I understand some of the players are playing non-stop cricket for over couple of months. New Zealand, then India, then Zimbabwe. They needed a break. And some of them just came back from a long injury..so they needed a soft start. But What about Nazmul and Rajib? Are they playing cricket for long season or they have any injury? Nevertheless, it is wise to use players in moderatrion. After all, physical strength of indian subcontinental people is not that high as of the people of western or african countries.
