He still has a good chance to make a comeback in Tests. Besides Tamim and Anamul, Jahurul was our best batsman in domestics FC matches. He did also look more comfortable in Tests compared to Anamul. This upcoming FC season will be crucial for Jahurul.

In ODIs though I can't see him being even considered. Junaid, Nafis Iqbal, Imrul, and Saikat Ali have all been better than him.

Haha, who knows, if Shamsu,Anamul, Ayub all have their go and fail to go beyond 40 runs everytime, we just might bring back Mr. 40, aka Jahurul.

to many options in shorter formats to go with jahurul imo, we've got junaid doing well in the DPL, shamsur has been around the squad for awhile and just got his debut match, not to mention you've got make shift openers like naeem and possibly others that they may try and guys like SN and imrul seem to always be on the verge of re-selection.

he has a better chance in tests, they just dropped anamul in ODIs and that's where he's performed so far in international cricket so i'd expect him to be dropped in tests as well. for mine jahurul has been the best we've found as a test opener over the last 5 or so years. they could try shamsur, they could go back to the juna'ds, SN's, imrul's etc but i reckon they'd be better going with jahurul instead of any of them.
