^looks like shehwar finally made it big with maria. He is famous. Congratulations!!

I read a forbes or financial article few months back where they mentioned all the top youtube stars from each country and their earnings. The top earner from Bangladesh was this lady who earns 2.2 millions dollars a year. Amazing if you think about it!! Someone in Bangladesh with just a camera and internet connection.

^ iDumb, remember that PM I sent you sometime ago ? I am now 100% certain that is the case

Anywayz, Fahim bhai, aka Bangladeshi food reviewer earns about 3 Lakh Taka a month. He used to work in a private bank and it didn't pay enough. Now, he earns much much more. He gets to eat out with his wife and take food home. Ki mojar life.

Haha I wouldn’t say we made it big bro. I suppose you were probably being sarcastic but it’s a really good feeling to receive love & support from so many people.

We both work Monday to Friday, this is just our hobby in our spare time and working from home has helped a great deal! But one day may be, who knows!

Seems like more members are flocking to FB.

I get it that it's social media, but I am not on that platform, especially because it's a hot bed for conspiracy theories and such.

I think that there's only a handful of us left here. I'll be posting more often, as we have a series coming up between Bangladesh and West Indies...

I will have to make a new thread on that series.

Its unfortunate that the forum is in a sorry state. The FB group is no where near where the forum was during its peak times.

The fb group has been up for a few months with the national side not having played a single game since it was made.. and you expect it to be the same as it was when BC was in its prime

It’s not the end...but merely the end of a chapter. New chapters are gonna be drama filled with the odd surprises

These days Banglacricket forum is the Finance forum championed by idumb and co.

The cricket discussions have all left

Well frankly as one gets olders, one suffers fools less gladly. Seeing Vaharoone still trying to troll using the same tired arguments, seeing iDumb and Rinat still going at each other, seeing Miraz posting one liners instead of his treatises ... Like I said earlier, other priorities take over.

Now can we talk about Windies treating us like covid cesspool?

I mean, one of the reasons why I dont come to BC is during the games, it is so much easier to discuss over whatsapp these days. In the past, we did not have any ideal platform for discussing.

However, forums like Pakpassion are still going strong so there's that.

Also, this forum still looks identical to a forum of the 00s. I believe a bit of effort is needed here.

The forum has been on its last legs for the past few years. Definitely a bit of improvement needed there to increase load speed, the 500 internal server error etc. We don't ask for much and most of us have dealt with the problems but would be nice if it didn't fall on deaf ears.

Considering that this was posted some 6 months ago, it certainly fell on deaf ears.
