Kevin Koththigoda - Weirdest Bowling Action
Hey now!

I cant imagine how much strain he is putting on his side with that action. The picture looks really painful.

Even Paul Adams' action looked somewhat sane comparing to Keven K's. This boy is very likely to pick up a back injury soon. Also, it will be very hard to have control with this sort of action.

If you focus only on the delivery and not the action then he can probably be not that hard to deal with, unless he is as good as Muralitharan.

Another Shivil Koushik.
A weird bowling action will not get you into international cricket.

Weird bowling actions can help confuse batsmen which in turn gives results, but on the international stage that novelty only has a contributing affect for a certain period of time, once batsmen are used to the action it all comes down to talent and how good a bowler can bowl (action becomes much less relevant - though in some cases it helps hide the ball which can make it very difficult for batsmen to pick which ball will be bowled).

Interesting to see how long he can bowl with that action without constantly getting injured. Looks very painful to the eyes.

We have seen couple of other guys having bowling action similar to the above. The batsman can focus on the trajectory of the ball and ignore the action. It shouldn't be hard to deal with. It will get more interesting if the bowler can add some variation with that action.
