Yes because GG's team made some tactical error.. They should've bagged some of the best Indian batsmen instead of the overseas players.. because most of the overseas players can't handle the spin on a slow track.. Look at CSK's line up Vijay, Raina, Dhoni - all are solid batsman and hard hitter.. on the contrary KKR has only 1 attacking batsman in Gambhir.. Had they gone for some good Indian batsmen they would have option to use the world class bowlers like Narine, Shakib, Lee/De Lagne more regularly.. batting is an issue for KKR ..

Match is taking place in Chennai and CSK has to be there in final .. the equation is simple..

That was his reasoning? Then why not drop Taylor? He's been poor this IPL. Why would you ever drop Morkel especially when he's been the top wicket taker? Guess this is why Sehwag should never be captain.

Look at Varun Aaron . Pacer and still got hit for 63 in his 4 overs.
The only spinner who got hit as bad was Sunny Gupta , a guy who was playing his debut IPL match.
So I dont think that the pitch is not helping the spinners. Infact , Ashwin bowled brilliantly. I hope they pick Shakib , otherwise it would be totally KKR's loss and might cost them the title. And lol after watching the horrible Morne Morkel experiment today by DD , I am quite confident that they wouldn't repeat a similar mistake !

I dont think bisla will play ahead of mc.. Mc, kallis, Narine kkr Wii stick with these 3 os players... depending on balaji is fit or not they will pick shak or a fast bowler...

actually thats how we normal humen think..but our thinking isnt equivalent with KKR..look this is how KKR thinks
Balaji not available=need fast bowler=play lee
look at other qualifier in this stadium=SLAs going for run=shakib gave 36 in 4 overs=Drop shakib
KKR pays tribute to the great apes like this!

kotha shoitto
But TBH Cullum and Kallis might cost them the game as their SR is not suitable for T20.. Bisla is a much better choice for an openner.. Also Tendo can do a much better job than Kaliis in batting and he gives the bowling option as well.. My team would be
1. Gambhir
2. Bisla
3. Tendo
4. Shakib
5. YP
6. Das
7. Shukla
8. Lee (if Balaji is injured)
9. Bhatia
10.Abdullah
11.Narine
but we all know that's not happening .. If Balaji can't make it then Shakib will have to sit out to make a way for Lee..

Perfect solution to this problem is to drop McCullum. He is not making any useful contribution. 40 ball 30s don't really count. Bisla can't possibly do worse than him.

Atleast McCullum is scoring the runs even if it means a 90 SR. If they drop him, they will find it difficult to cross 120.

I think then the solution is not necessarily an allrounder but rather opposable thumbs as the first step for KKR
