Default BD V ENG 2016: England Are Favourites For ODI Series

Yep, title says it.

BD haven't looked anything like what they did last year's ODI series's. Body language, whole approach are not upto the mark. There seems to be no plan of batting, players getting out to ugly shots and not learning from mistakes, one falls then another like dominoes. Batsmen played spinners last few matches like they've never played spin before in their life. BD Pace bowling serving pies, Spinners not spinning the ball at all, apart from Shakib the bowling attack lolks toothless (WILL be missing Fizz big time)

England are highly professional side, won't slip up like the Afg did in the first game. England won't give anything free away either. England will make life hard, from word go.

I feel BD might get whitewashed. The way Bangladesh are playing at ATM. Hope I'm proved wrong, though.

I am not, because we won't have the pressure of facing a lower ranked side which can hurt our rankings/momentum/confidence

tickets are cheap here brother, 150-300 taka will get you a good seat

Or maybe I should have got the grand stand tickets so I could boo the BD players as they were going to return to the dugout after yet another humiliating performance

I just pray and hope that we win the 3rd ODI with a good performance. It will do our confidence a world of good. Remember BD lost to Australian domestic sides and Ireland before the world cup?

Well then we beat Afghanistan and had good confidence to take other side. Let us just focus on the 3rd ODI and hope we win. I dont care about the England series right now.

BCB needs to protect Fiz, that means no CPL, PSL. Only BPL, maybe IPL if he needs some quick easy cash, and defo big bash for the experience. Fizz is our most important weapon! Had fizz been there against England BD would been slightly fav imo!

Afghans have a better spin attack, Nabi and Rashid Khan, England don't have that kind of quality.

But England still are a professional batting unit and will come at us hard.

Adil Rashid and Joe Root can wreck Havoc, Moeen Ali is pretty decent too

Root is a part timer. Moien Ali is a worry for our Shakib

Adil Rashid might be a handful, but nothing compared to Rashid Khan or Nabi

BCB made a mistake with the "Fizz". I agree he should play in these English and Australian leagues, but knowing he had a injury, and playing that many games so soon is simply uncalled for: they better not let that happen again to any player.

England's spin attack is not as potent as Afghanistan's, but they do have a chance to win the series against us. What I was most disappointed about in those two games against Afghanistan was the lacklustre fielding from the players. Against England, it will not work – you can make sure of that.

All I care about is winning the series right now.

Nabi is threatening because Nabi is very knowledgeable about Bangladesh local conditions and He knows about our players strengths and weaknesses. Afghanistan actually employed a very similar Strategy we employed Against West Indies in 2012...using Shohag Gazi/open with Off spin against Lefties and it paid dividends...
