Default ICC World Twenty20 2012 - Bangladesh Route to Finale

I wanted to know, if there are any valid reason’s for us Bangladeshi fan’s to believe that we can reach the World Twenty20 2012 final. The ample amount of T20 Match’s we are getting before the ICC T20 in September should do us some good. Realistically can we go to the finale or what are the expectation from the fans?

In our group we have New Zealand and Pakistan, Therefore we must beat one of them to get to super Eight Stage. Can we have a go at New Zealand?

We should make it out of the 1st round this time around.

I would say we should consider ourselves a 50-50 shot (if not better) vs. NZ at the moment and I don't see any reason to fear Pakistan following the Asia Cup either.

Coming out in the top 2 of the 2nd round to reach the semis will be a bit tough though

I do have some bias living in nz but no way in the world are nz and bd 50-50 shot. i know people are basing their opinion from the t20s against WI but that was a legit NZ B without the services, of Bmac, vettori, franklin, ryder, and also effectively ross taylor and jacob oram.
with the full strength teams from BD and NZ playing respectively i would say it would be a 25-75 shot of BD winning. BUT that being said, it is t20 and the team that plays better on the day will obviously win, but on paper no way are BD favourites or even.
What do people think of my opinion?

I would respectfully disagree with you bro. Remember the Kiwi batsmen suck on subcontinental tracks and will struggle against our spinners. If it was in Australia or England then I would agree with you.
I would say that its 50-50 or even I would say BD are favorites. It should be a good match overall.

As this is just a "Who will win" type prediction poll. I would just vote the #1s. None but the English deserves a ICC trophy for LOIs most, right now they are the most dominant performer in all format even without KP. This would be really unfair for their effort to be such consistency gets ternished with just one choked match against any underdog side.
Anyway, Best wishes for Bangladesh to defeat Pakistan and can go for next round of the tournament.

After these dissapointing prep series, I'm not feeling very confident on Bangladesh to get chance to play more than 2 games in SL.

your belief has good base, now we have two good reason to believe that we will definitely reach the finale of T20 WC.... We earned two stars by being beaten by Sco and Ned.... One of them must be playing Ina's with us. ...

I'd like to say, it's a toss up between South Africa and Pakistan, but I will go with South Africa, because they look the most cohesive and well balanced unit.

WI will come close but I don't think they'll win it.
